Bracebridge, is just a 1.5 hour drive from Toronto, and less than five minutes off Highway 11. It's NOT on an island but can be accessed by water only. But no worries, we have a gated private parking lot (fits multiple cars) right on Highway 118 and the Muskoka river, where your Captain will greet you with a roomy pontoon boat that will ferry you to the cottage. Enjoy the scenic calm, fresh air and stunning views of the Muskoka waterways and in three short minutes you arrive at the cottage dock.
This 20 acres of natural haven boasts 1400 feet of waterfront, making your stay private, quiet and relaxing. The Crown land on the other side of river will ensure extra privacy. During your stay, there is no any other people will be on the property. It has something for everyone: Canoeing, paddle-boating, kayaking, and bountiful fishing.
There is a public boat launcher is less than a kilometer away if you would like to bring your own boat. We provide kayaks, canoes, and paddle boat and include paddles, life jackets (no infant sizes) with your stay, so no need to carry an extra luggage. There is a big dock that extends into the river and floating dock both with swim ladders which are perfect for sun bathing or swimming from. The hard-packed sandy bottom with shallow water along the shore is an excellent surface for kids to play. The water off the dock is 30ft deep.
