| We had our whole family and new grandbaby and two dogs and there was so much room for everyone and totally enjoyed every sitting area especially the screened in one for rainy days! What we forgot to bring we found supplied in the cottage (oil) replaced before Left! Loved the view every morning on the mirror white lake! Even had our sons wedding rehearsal dinner where everyone enjoyed the Tiki bar and different sitting areas ! Pictures on the dock at sunset are amazing! Linen provided was a nice treat and clean! 3.6 km drive in from main road but you never know what you will see when coming down that road! Weasels, ground hogs, or bunnies! We waterskied and spent hours down on the dock! White Lake is huge! Sid was very gracious host and We stayed ann extra night ! Enjoyed cottage immensely they have thought of everything! The only thing is a dryer would be great for the rainy days as the washer was perfect and needed before the wedding! Thanks again !

| This cottage was even nicer than in the pictures. We loved all the different sitting spots including at the Tiki bar. (that also has a small hotel fridge for beer!) If you like to spend your mornings reading like we do, the huge deck is shaded and by the time it becomes sunny, you can move to the Tiki bar seating which is then shaded. We spent most of our time outdoors. The living room and dining room are spacious with lots of seating. That helped on the rainy day. The big screen TV was a hit.
Our first week we had temperatures up to 30°+ so to sleep the brand new fan in each room with timer and temperature sensor were great!
There is a nice lawn we played bocci ball on and on which a rather large rabbit appeared a couple times a day.
The dock is also spacious and the lake deep enough to dive off. We swam across the lake a couple times while having one person in the inflatable row boat (nice and sturdy) spot. We brought our own inflatable SUP and Sid said he would add a canoe and paddles as well. (Sid was a wonderfully responsive and communicative host.)
A feature we really liked was that our 91-year-old mother, who couldn't do stairs well down to the dock, could walk down the gently sloping rounding paths to the dock, bypassing the stairs.
Refreshing cooler drinking water is provided, as are coffee filters and most things you need in a kitchen. We brought and left some aluminum foil to complement the plastic wrap there. Bring your own condiments.

| We enjoyed our week at Macwan's cottage. We had up to 8 family members visit throughout the week and never felt crowded. Kitchen is well outfitted. Lots of glassware. A nice comfortable seating area at the Tiki bar. A super screened in sitting room off one end of the house. Dining table seats 10 with a beautiful view overlooking White Lake.
Great sunsets. big swimming dock with ladder, New inflateable rowing boat. A very downtown gas grille.
Screened in room has a nice ceiling fan and lamp but needs better plusher cushions. All the bases are covered.

| Excellent week at the Macwan cottage with our family. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Lots of room to find our own space when we needed to, but also big enough for all of us to gather together in the dining area, screened porch or patio area. The owner was always helpful and welcoming. The sunsets ARE beautiful!! I highly recommend this cottage.
