Family-Friendly and Cozy cottage in Haliburton. Looking out to pristine Miskwabi Lake with a private path, less than 2 minute walk, to a private shared sandy beach, adults and kids can enjoy canoeing and jumping off the dock. Unwind by the camp fire, swing on the playset and once the kids are in bed, enjoy a cold drink on the deck under the stars. 3 bright and fresh bedrooms, 2 with double beds and 1 with twin bunk beds and a full bathroom with a spacious shower. A bunkie sleeps an extra 2-4 people with a comfy sofa bed and a queen size bed in the loft! An updated kitchen is fully stocked with Keurig coffee machine, kettle, all the utensils, pots & pans, dishes needed for the family! Amenities included: BBQ, TV with Netflix & Disney +, DVD player with varied movie selection, WIFI, family board games, wood stove (for winter use only), canoe. All bedding included. The driveway is steep to get down. 4 wheel drive/ all wheel drive is recommended or would have to back it up, or park at the top. It is NOT paved.
Lookout Cove is less than a 20 minute drive to the town of Haliburton that has grocery stores, pharmacy, beer store and LCBO, kids park, skate park and a variety of restaurants with delicious food! 45 minutes to the Haliburton Forest Wolf Centre and 35 minutes to Sir Sam's Ski Hill.

| Awesome place! My wife, and 2 friends with baby stayed here and had an amazing time! We went in October and the scenery was beautiful, the lake is quiet and serine, there's lots of room on the property for lawn games and we kept cosy inside by the fireplace at night. Beautiful area, very private also and a great cottage with everything you need. Lots of activities in case weather is poor too. The hosts were very accomodating and we would gladly come here again!

| Relaxing cottage getaway on a beautiful and quiet lake. The cottage itself is lovely, clean, updated and has all the amenities and more to enjoy your stay.
The patio is spacious, overlooking the forest that leads to the lake. The gates fully lock, so little ones or pets can be contained. Playset was an added bonus that can entertain your children when you aren't in the water.
Lake/Beach was awesome. Clean, clear and soft sand. The water gradually got deeper, perfect for children to play.
Hosts were awesome, super informative, so kind and helpful. Highly recommend this cottage, you won't be disappointed.

| This cottage has it all for your family and friends; everything from life jackets to utensils to cook an amazing meal. Once you arrived you'll be so excited with all your surroundings and the privacy you have to enjoy your great stay with your family and friends; not uncommon to see deer running around!! The lake has a dock and a beach if you have little ones. We love this cottage and so appreciative how accommodating Paulina are and will definitely visit again.
