Beautiful family cottage for rent on a quiet bay in Clear Bay on sought-after Crystal Lake! Spectacular water views from virtually every room. The response when walking in the back door is always the same, with the whole front set of windows showing beautiful water as far as the eye will take you .... aaaaahhhhhmazing! Kitchen is fully stocked and ready for a week of gourmet meals, or lazy hot dogs and burgers on the BBQ. Whatever ... you're at the cottage. There is no dishwasher, except for those that you assign to wash the dishes! Get those kids or husbands lined up for rotating dish duty. It'll be FUN! Cottage can comfortably sleep 13 with no bed sharing. Rental price is based on a maximum of 10. There are 3 interior bedrooms in the main cottage, the queen-bed master with the view of all views (see pics), and two identical back bedrooms each with twin single beds and a double/ single bunk bed. There is a two bunk bed set up in the cozy bunkie to sleep another 4. It's just in back of the main cottage beside the fully stocked woodshed and Shrek's outhouse (see pics)!
You'll want to spend all day by, or in, the water. Always deep, clean water off the dock, with an easy step ladder to get back out. Beautiful brand new 20x40 dock is connected to the sturdy upper dock. Lots of room to sit, lounge, lay out, or run and jump into the lake! There is a small beach on the left side of the property that gets longer with the summer.
Swim out to the 12x20 massive swim dock with the floating picnic table. It's a great place to grab some late day sun.
There are water toys for days with 4 kayaks (3 adult, 1 kids), 1 paddleboat, 1 stand-up paddleboard, and an 8-foot floating mat that the kids will love! Lots of other floaties, life jackets, and other water stuff. There is also a 14-foot tin boat there for you to row out and fish, or, if you are licensed and insured you can BYOM (bring your own motor and gas).
The wrap-around upper decking provides panoramic views over the lake and a table for 6 for outdoor dining. Perfect place for a morning coffee or breakfast/afternoon/evening beer. No judgment zone!
Gaze the stars from the hot tub, or enjoy a night around the fire pit. Or gaze at the stars with our amazing telescope! The night sky in cottage country is a completely different experience!
Need a break? Weather not cooperating? Take yourself up to Gordie's bar and game room just up the driveway! Insulated and always cool from the summer heat, Gordie's has a 50" smart TV, plenty of seating, a games table, and games galore. Shuffleboard, foosball table, darts, and an arcade table with 300+ games. Rain or shine, day or night .... Gordie's is the gift that keeps on giving. Yes, it's named after that Gordie, and the previous owner who was also named Gord and built the place!
Highland Cinemas is also only 15 minutes away in Kinmount, playing first-run films and providing one of the most unique day trip in cottage country. Kinmount has most of what you might need if you forgot something.
If not, Bobcaygeon is a quick 30 minutes away with lots of great restaurants and shopping.
High-speed internet throughout the property. Recently upgraded to a Bell service with consistent 25GB speed! Stream away!
