Newly Renovated Family Waterfront Cottage w/Hot Tub

Our spacious and bright living room has almost floor-to-ceiling windows and a cozy wood-burning stove for those cool evenings. For your comfort and convenience, wood is included with your stay. This space is also complete with a 75-inch smart TV and a cozy play corner for your little ones. The centrally-located custom kitchen faces the bright and spacious dining room overlooking the waterfront. The dining room features a solid walnut table and a bench hand crafted by your host. Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need including a large fridge, an electric stove, a microwave, a dishwasher, a selection of high-quality Lagostina cookware, a slow cooker, a rice cooker, a toaster, a kettle, a Nespresso coffee station (with Aeroccino) with a wide selection of gourmet and decaf coffees, a selection of premium organic teas, and all your cooking essentials including pink Himalayan salt, freshly ground black pepper, a blend of fine herbs, organic extra virgin olive oil and organic balsamic vinegar of Modena. Near the sink you will find a Fruits & Passion Cucina Duo Soap & Hand Cream and Saje Dishwashing soap and Multi-surface cleaner. This space is also complete with a Saje diffuser and a selection of premium Saje diffuser blends to really complete your cottage getaway experience.

Our cottage is equipped with a washer and dryer, with all-natural laundry detergent included with your stay, and a charming spacious entry way complete with a solid walnut bench and a full-sized mirror.

There is central air conditioning and forced air heating, as well as a wood-burning stove, which allows for comfortable enjoyment of the property all year round.

Travelling with small children:

(We must be notified in advance of your arrival to set up the cottage for kids or babies as many items listed here need to be taken out of storage and set up for you.)

Travelling with small children? You're in the right place! Our family cottage is fully equipped for babies and toddlers. We provide most basic essentials and several sleeping options (a foldable crib, Bugaboo Stardust, 4Moms Breeze Plus), complete with bedding and children's towels, bed bumpers, a baby changing station, baby bath, several playpens (including an outdoor one), a high chair, several step stools for reaching sinks or counters, a potty and a toilet seat, a play area complete with a cool tent and toys, MamaRoo baby swing and a Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker, a Skip Hop baby activity center, as well as children's hand soap, shampoo and lotion, and baby laundry detergent. Please let us know the number and ages of children you will be travelling with so that we can accommodate you accordingly.

Working from Home:

Our property is equipped with a SpaceX Starlink satellite system which provides for the fastest download speeds among all internet providers in Canada. Please let us know whether you require any special accommodation or arrangement for a workspace during your stay.

Outdoor Space:

Enjoy the great Canadian outdoors! Relax on the grass by the water with a glass of wine, get comfortable and cozy with a warm blanket by the fire pit or hop into the hot tub on a cool evening as the sun sets for the day.

Our cottage features a spacious, fairly level green lawn, beautiful mature maple and birch trees, a fire pit, a wrap-around deck with patio furniture and a Napoleon Barbeque, and an all-season hot tub. Included with your stay are two kayaks, two stand up paddle boards, a pedal boat, an assortment of childrens? floaties and blow-up toys, and a 14 foot aluminum fishing boat with 9.9 HP motor available at additional cost (Pleasure Craft operator?s card and a valid driver license will be required) .

On the other side, the cottage is hidden from the road by a row of tall ever-green trees offering privacy from the road and the neighbours across.
The driveway fits up to 4 vehicles.

Please note: The watercraft and dock will only be accessible during the summer season, and will remain closed for the season between November and May or depending on the snow/ ice conditions. All patio furniture is also stored away during the winter/ early spring seasons and is available during the summer season only.

Guest Access:

Our guests have exclusive private access to the entire cottage, the surrounding property, deck, hot tub, fire pit and dock, but we can be available if needed.

Parking is available for four vehicles on the driveway.

Maximum number of people allowed:

The cottage accommodates 6 adults or children over the age of 3; babies and small toddlers are not included in this number if they can sleep in a portable crib. We can provide 3 additional sleeping accommodations for small children: a foldable full-sized crib, Bugaboo Stardust and 4Moms Breeze Plus. We provide all bedding for the baby/ toddler beds.
Please note that this is the maximum number of people that can be on the property at any one time. You must abide by our quiet hours policy of between 10pm and 10am and absolutely no parties or events are permitted on the premises.

Security:

Our property has two Nest cameras, one facing the driveway and one facing the waterfront and our front door is equipped with a Nest Yale Smart Lock system and we provide a unique code for each guest/ group.

Booking Instructions:

After booking, you will be asked to review and agree to our House Rules and to provide complete information about your group, including the number of adults and their full names, the number of children and just their ages (so that we can accommodate appropriately), any pets and the number of vehicles that will be on the property during your stay. The primary guest will be asked to provide a Photo ID as well. The primary guest will receive an email with instructions and code for the front door the day before the expected arrival.
