Welcome to Luna Lodge! Escape to Luna Lodge, a beautifully renovated waterfront cottage on the shores of Clear Lake in the heart of Ontario's picturesque Rideau Lakes. Nestled on a quiet back road, this peaceful retreat offers the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. Enjoy stunning lake views and tranquil surroundings while being less than 10 minutes from the charming village of Elgin. The nearby villages of Newboro, Westport, and Portland offer unique shops, local restaurants, hiking trails, parks, historic sites, and seasonal events to explore throughout your stay. Start your mornings in the bright and inviting sunroom, where you can sip your coffee while overlooking the water and soaking in the peaceful scenery. The spacious, fully updated kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable, including a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, blender, and even a SodaStream. A BBQ with propane provided for the grill masters to enjoy. For added convenience, the cottage also features a dedicated laundry room with a new washer and dryer. Luna Lodge comfortably accommodates families and groups with three well-appointed bedrooms: - A spacious primary suite with a king-size bed and a beautifully renovated ensuite bathroom. - A second bedroom with a queen-size bed. - A third bedroom with bunk beds that comfortably sleep up to four guests. Each bedroom offers generous closet space to make longer stays feel just like home.
Recent updates throughout the cottage include new flooring, reliable high-speed Wi-Fi, improved cell service with a cell signal booster, and efficient electric heating for cooler evenings. Air conditioning will be added this year as of July 9th and ensures comfort indoors during the warmer months. The new propane fireplace on the deck creates the perfect setting for relaxing under the stars.
The cottage's upgraded water system features UV purification, reverse osmosis, and advanced filtration, providing fresh, crystal-clear drinking water throughout your stay.
Outside, you'll find everything you need to enjoy life on the lake. Spend your days swimming, fishing, or simply unwinding by the water while taking in the beautiful views from the private, boat accessible dock. Bring your own boat or rent one nearby!

| What a fantastic place to celebrate our anniversary! We stayed for 5 nights and could not have been happier with our choice. The cottage itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and offers stunning water views that you won't get tired of looking at.
?Docking our boat right at the cottage was super convenient for spontaneous fishing and tubing runs. For anyone bringing a boat, the nearby campground owners were wonderful and let us launch and park our trailer there for just $20. We also loved relaxing on the dock—even if we wished the weather had given us a bit more sun!
?Communication with the Property Manager was top-notch from start to finish. She was prompt, helpful, and made the whole process stress-free. We didn't want our stay to end and would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a waterfront escape!

| I had a wonderful stay at this peaceful lakeside retreat. The setting was truly special; quiet, beautiful, and surrounded by nature. It was the perfect place to slow down, relax by the lake, and enjoy the peaceful scenery. The lake house has many of those little “extras” that make your time away a breeze.
For outdoor enthusiasts, the location couldn't be better. There were numerous hiking opportunities nearby, with beautiful trails and plenty to explore. I was also thrilled by my many winged companions! The lake house and surrounding area offered wonderful birdwatching opportunities and made it easy to spend hours simply enjoying the sights and sounds of nature.
There are several nearby towns with unique shops, excellent food, craft beer, and local wines. It was a pleasure to laze away part of a day after hiking; eating freshly made sourdough pizza, sipping an adult beverage, or nibbling on an ice cream cone while wandering through the streets and along the lakeshore.
If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with easy access to hiking, wildlife, and the beauty of the outdoors, this retreat offers a wonderful opportunity to experience just that. I look forward to returning!

| Love this place! Our second stay here—beautiful lake views, bright airy space, well equipped and tastefully decorated. Secluded in the trees, we watched deer each morning and enjoyed sunning and swimming off the dock. Perfect old fashioned cottage experience- great for family gathering.
