- A BEAUTIFUL 4 season Pine interior cottage located in a cozy cove on the pristine waters of Lake Erie. Avoid the busy highways, only a 45 min Drive from Hamilton. Enjoy your morning coffee or a evening Sundowner drink from the second floor Balcony, Dock Platform or from our newly installed deck overlooking the lake. - Go kayaking, paddle boarding,enjoy some good fishing on the lake, 2 Kayaks, 3 kids kayaks, 2 paddle boards. (Must bring your own fishing supplies) Relax in the warm water but remember your water shoes as the shore is a little rocky but around 10ft out its sandy and there is a nice sandy beach called the "California Beach" by locals within a 5-10min walk. - Enjoy the games room with family and friends. - Kitchen comes with all cutlery and cooking utensils, pots and pans. Dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, oven and stove top. There is a double door refrigerator, wine fridge icemaker and a bar fridge in the game room. Several small towns in the area to visit such as Port Dover,Selkirk,Fisherville and Dunville which lays besides the Grand River ,several nearby Golf courses, Restaurants and the Cayuga Motorsport racetrack a short drive away - Bed linens provided (one set only), please remember to bring your own bath and beach towels. - Cistern Water Tank/ Holding Tank

| My boyfriend and I had originally booked for a 3 night getaway at this fantastic cottage and loved it so much, that we extended for an extra night! Carla was very accommodating, friendly and easy to deal with. The cottage was great, with a beautiful view and fully equipped for a leisurely stay. The games room, hot tub and fire pit were wonderful options that we thoroughly enjoyed. Would love to stay again to enjoy the warmer weather amenities they have available. Highly recommend this place!

| We ( 8 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs) spent our Christmas time at Carla's sunshine cottage.
We all enjoyed our 5 days staying.
The cottage had enough space for all of us and location was great . The huge view of the lake was spectacular!! We definitely rent it again

Great host and super comfortable building and property to just enjoy yourself and leave the world your vacationing from behind.
Our host...can't be understated how great she was and easy to deal with.
Everyone that I had come out for a guys weekend of boardgames bbq and to see what this place offered was amazed, and the hot tub is in the perfect setting.
We enjoyed it so much we've already booked again so that we can enjoy the outside area more and get out on the water.

| We stayed here for a girl's weekend and it had a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor activities. We lucked out and had the most gorgeous weather and spent majority of the time outside in the hot tub, tanning/reading on the dock, kayaking and canoeing, and having lunch on the deck! Beautiful views of the sunrise from the dock as well. Inside was spacious, with high ceilings and a 2nd level porch facing the water . While there is plenty of seating amongst the kitchen and livingroom and enough beds for 9+ ppl, the only downfall is there isn't much comfy seating for groups that size to lounge around altogether for movie nights. Coming from Waterloo Region the drive was easy and able to have some beauty views of the passing landscape.
Thank you to Carla for being an inviting host, and making the rental process simple and straightforward. We are already booked for next year and eager to return !

| We stayed for 2 nights late Sept 2023, 6 adults and one infant (5mth), we all LOVED staying here. We instantly felt relaxed as soon as we walked into the door, the views from inside the cottage onto the lake was mesmerizing. There was so much space to move around, we never felt like we were on top of one another. There's lots of indoor and outdoor seating to relax in. Carla was a fantastic host, very courteous and warm, we will return.
