Located on Ashby Lake, just a bit north of the Bon Echo Provincial Park. The cottages property has southern exposure waterfront in a bay of calm, very clear water.

A perfect site for 3 to 4 families to enjoy together easily sleeps up to 16-20 guests.

Main Cottage - Nicely 2-bedroom with queen-sized bed plus entertaining games room walking out at lower floor, a fully kitchen with large dining table, full bathroom, and living room with cozy screened porch overlooking the lake. Sleeps up to 6.
Big Blue Huron Cabin - 3 bedrooms, full kitchen and living room with lake view, sharing to use outer standalone full bathroom. Sleeps 6+ comfortably.
Small Blue Gill Cabin - 2 bedrooms, a small hall, full kitchen, sharing to use outer standalone full bathroom, enough for a family of 4.
RV trailer Puma - 33 feet RV trailer, a queen size plus bunk beds, sofa bed and kitchen which offers microwave, and refrigerator, a shower room is available, enough for 3 - 4 guests.
RV trailer Jaguar- 31 feet RV trailer, a queen size plus bunk beds, sofa bed and kitchen which offers microwave, and refrigerator, a shower room is available, enough for 3 - 4 guests.

The cottages are accessible via a well maintained concrete and dirt road, and back onto densely wooded crown land, great for hiking, extreme mountain biking, ATV, and other outdoor adventures like hunting etc.

The large docks are available for excellent swimming, boating. We have 2 youth & adult kayaks, 2 canoes, a paddleboat, and a SUP board available for use. There is also a boat launch area on the site, which can be reached directly by vehicle along the driveway, if you would like to bring your own boat. Great fishing for small mouth and lake trout.

We recently stayed at this cottage and it was a good week but here are a few things
It would have been nice to have been told that strangers would be coming onto the property to get their boats as there is a community dock at this property. This made our dogs bark and made it not so private. As the people walk right on the property.
The cabin by the water needs lots of updating and has a major ant problem.
The trailers are good and have ac which is definitely needed. But it would be nice to have a washroom closer to the cabin by the water as there is no washroom close. The shared washroom is quite a hike from the trailer by the water and no one wants to do this at night which created an issue.
There is a lack of utensils in the trailers and cabins we had to go from place to place to get what we needed.
There are 3 BBQ's and only one works and one is gas which does not work there not sure why it's even at the cottage. It would be good to buy brand new BBQ's as these are old and the racks inside are dirty and rusty.
The main washroom needs better ventilation it gets really stuffy in there and better lighting for nighttime as I stubbed my toes a few times. Bring a flashlight with you. And for the garbage more info is needed. We had to figure out ourselves where it was as the info in the package is not correct the place is different for the garbage and is only open Wednesday and Sunday not all week. we had to bring it home with us.

Thanks so much for your review and speaking honesty.

We've been worked hard to improve the site and yes the lakeside cabin update was planning as well including leveling, exterior and interior renovation and washroom add on, akready paid deposit early this year but unfortunately the constructor is not available until fall.

The dock is not belong to community it's private we still open it to the boat owners though - their cottages is on island and this is the only way they are commutable between rd and islands.

It's not excuse, just hope you could understand the things a bit. And for other advices they're all valued for us. We really appreciate it and will work on them to improve accordingly.
