Beautiful Burns Cottage in Tantallon, Nova Scotia is available for weekly rental from May 1 to October 31. The Cottage is located on the shores of St. Margaret's Bay. Surroundings include private beach, forests and green space. This is a quiet cottage at the end of a private lane. Birds and wildlife are all around. This is a two bedroom, one bathroom cottage. One bedroom has a queen size bed, the other bedroom has two single beds. There is also a sofa bed in the den. Kitchen is fully equipped (no dishwasher) and linens and towels are provided. Basement is unfinished but includes washer and dryer. Internet is provided but no land line, TV or related services. 30 amp RV/ Trailer hookup available.
Half an hour from Halifax or Peggy's Cove and an hour to Lunenburg and all the delight in between. Groceries, shops, gas all available in a 10 minute drive.

| We had a wonderful stay at Burns Cottage! The cottage itself was bright and clean and nicely decorated. There was ample space for me, my husband and our two dogs to relax and enjoy. The kitchen had everything we needed. The cottage is well located near Peggys Cove, and we made easy day trips to Lunenburg and Halifax as well. The best feature is the view and private beach. What a special place.

| The Burn's Cottage has been a 'Home away from Home? for us for a number of years. It is very well equipped, comfortable, peaceful and ideally located. We have travelled extensively in Canada and the US and Nova Scotia, and this location specifically, is a favourite.
There is excellent grocery shopping at large local grocery stores, road side stands for produce, farmers markets and an excellent fish and seafood merchant.
We are avid photographers and, in the six years we have stayed here, we feel we have not exhausted all the photographic opportunities.
There are many day trips within an hour's drive, Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, Halifax, Mahone Bay.
If you need a day's rest to read on the deck, you can watch the small sailboats at the local marina and the daily visits of deer and pheasants.
There are many dining opportunities within a 30-minute drive, both 'take out' and some excellent dining rooms. Thankfully you won't find any fast-food outlets, just 'one of a kind' spots with quality food and excellent service.
The owners, Rebecca and Alix, are responsive and a pleasure to deal with.
The added bonus is the east coast hospitality.

| Comfortable, Clean cottage. Well equipped kitchen!
On the waterfront, private beach, marina within walking distance. Close to amenities, grocery stores,
restaurants and Peggy's cove.
Landlords are excellent communicators and are readily available.
Highly recommended! We plan to return for another stay.
