Welcome to The Cozy Tents! This off-grid tent is located in McDonalds Corners, Ontario and offers a wilderness getaway on acres of forested land. The open space and the cozy tent makes this the perfect place for peace and quiet. The tent is 14' by 16' sitting on a wood platform with a steel roof, featuring a private patio area, wood stove, 3 windows, and screen door. Inside can comfortably sleep 2 guests on the Queen sized bed which is covered with an extra large bug net. Pillows, duvet, and cozy blankets are all provided, however please bring your own bedding, (fitted sheet, flat sheet, and pillow cases) and towels. Let us know if you need bedding provided and we can fix you up for a bedding fee of $30 along with the option of adding a camp bunk bed for extra guests $50 or single camp cot for $30.
Cooking is a piece of cake on the 3 burner CampChef stove, propane tank is provided. There are pots and pans, dishes and cutlery, mugs and glasses, everything you will need for a tasty meal. Guests can easily warm up the kettle on the wood burning stove or the CampChef for coffee or tea.
Outside on the private porch is a beautiful patio table and chairs. Theres a fire pit with 4 muskoka chairs and firewood provided. Beautiful trails to be explored, deer watching, and amazing star gazing.
The wash area features an outdoor shower, and sink right out back of the tent. The outhouse is a short walk away and includes, composting bucket system, toilet paper, and sink.
With no wifi and no cell reception, this is a getaway experience like no other. Get away from the city and get cozy in the wilderness at The Cozy Tents campsite.
If you forget something, you can find basic groceries at the Highlands Country Store, only a few kms away. Or Perth is about a 30 minute drive and Lanark 20 minutes.
A 50% deposit is due at time of booking.
Remaining balance plus $300 damage deposit is due 14 days before check in. We expect your campsite to be left in the same condition as when you arrived, including cleaning up and removing garbage. Failure to do so will result in using a portion of the damage deposit to have the tent cleaned.
Optional cleaning service $100, if you would like your campsite cleaned for you after your stay.
Optional bedding fee $30, if you would like sheets provided for the bed.
Optional camp bunk bed $50, for extra guests.
Optional single camp cot $30, for an extra guest.
Lead renter must be at least 29 years old.
