Stillwater Lakehouse is a four-season Muskoka retreat designed for quality family time and absolute comfort. This fully equipped 5 (+1 bunkie) bedroom cottage was made for you and your littles. Access to 20 acres, this cottage is quietly located lakeside and nestled in the forest. Our big level backyard allows for lots of areas to play and explore. Amenities included; fully stocked kitchen, games rooms with ping pong/ pool table, three TVs, outdoor jungle gym, and lots of lake toys.
Beginning with a long driveway hidden behind mature trees, you will slowly arrive at your perfect family vacation property. Upon approach you will see there is lots of room for parking. Lake views are visible as you check in.
Our bright red door is the perfect welcome. There you will access the lockbox for self check in. Immediately to your left, there is a powder room and mud room to leave your luggage and jackets before exploring the property.
From the big staircase you will walk into the open concept kitchen, and dining room lined with bright windows to lake views. From there you can go out onto the deck to see the large backyard, and slow sandy access to the water. There is lots of grassy areas to play and a big dock from the boathouse for cannon balls.
From the tucked away bunkie behind the jungle gym, there are also great areas to teach the kids to fish.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a very large 4-piece bathroom. Our large jacuzzi tub has lake-views in case you were hoping to take a nice hot bubble bath after settling in. The primary and second bedroom both have breathtaking lake views as well.
The bright basement has two more bedrooms with lots of space and immediate access to the outdoors. The basement not being underground was designed with bright windows to allow for ample sunshine. The basement has a walk out with access to a 3-piece bathroom. The french doors provide access the backyard and lake in case you wanted to jump into the lake before your evening slumber.
If you'd also like access to the bunkie (bedroom #6) for extra sleeping arrangements please do let us know.
The only neighbours you'll see are across the lake.
A rear back deck off the kitchen and dining room features a BBQ and outdoor dining table for 5 to sit and relax comfortably. The bunkie is on the right of the cottage tucked into trees and the boathouse is on the left with a big lakeside deck.
Offered is 1 interior slip and an abundance of square footage of dock space tastefully equipped with umbrellas and chaise loungers and muskoka chairs.
The Lakehouse is nestled at the end of Mortimer's Point on Lake Muskoka.
A 10 minute walk down Mortimer's Point road will get you to Mortimer's Marina. Where you can gas up, grab ice cream, buy a fresh juice or watch the float planes land. During the summer months, the marina offers Yoga classes.
A 10 minute drive will get you to Glen Orchard MOBIL where you can gas up, get a fresh burger and an ice cream cone, or get the supplies you may have missed while in town.
Port Carling is a 14 minute drive from the Lakehouse. In Port Carling, there is a Foodland and several restaurants to dine at. The area is fully equipped with an LCBO and exercise classes.
There are many cafés and restaurants in Port Carling like the York and Mason, Tulo's Taqueria, Turtle Jacks (on the water) and Mooskoka's Ice Cream Parlour.
Bala is about a 20 minute drive from the Lakehouse. Another small town equipped with a Freshmart, Beer Store and several fantastic bakeries.
