| My family and I stayed here in August - and all I can say is WOW! From the moment we stepped inside we were not only amazed by the beauty of the cottage, but the extra touches that Marsha and her family added were an unexpected surprise! Situated between Bayfield and Grand Bend was ideal for day trips as the drive was simple and close. There was no lack of space in this huge cottage - lots of huge bedrooms to choose from and the kitchen and living room were amazing! I have nothing but great things to say about this cottage. Marsha was so quick to respond to any questions I had. My family and I had a great time and made lots of lasting memories there! We are hoping to be back again this summer!

| We had a lovely stay here! The beds were so comfortable and it was so nice to fall asleep with the windows open and only the sounds of nature to lull us to sleep. The lakehouse had everything we could have needed - it rained one day so it was great to have the selection of games, the TV for some of us, the upstairs nook for art and reading as desired, and the area under that to doze off with a book. Not to mention the hot tub!
Everything was so clean and organized, with clear instructions and great communication via text whenever needed (which was only really to say "we made it" and "we're leaving" because we needed nothing else)! Our ages ranged from 10-70 years old and there was something for everyone to feel comfortable and relaxed.
The sunsets are of course legendary -- the short walk down the hill to the beach gave us somewhere to watch it every night. It's a shame that there isn't a clearer view from the house to the lake, but the beach is great and wasn't at all crowded. There are slippery boulders in the water a little ways out to watch out for. We had a great time on our floaties, bobbing on the waves.
Day trips to Bayfield, The Pinery and The Bend were all easy and fun! Wholeheartedly recommend St Joseph's Lakehouse.

| If you're looking for the perfect family getaway, this stunning lakehouse is a must-see. Located less than a five-minute walk from beautiful St. Joseph Beach in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, it's ideal for relaxation and fun. We enjoyed the nearby fruit and vegetable market and the adults loved the nearby Bad Apple Brewing Company .
The interior is immaculate, with an open-concept design that connects the living room, dining area, and gourmet kitchen, perfect for family gatherings. Our toddler was thrilled with the toys, including toy cars and fireman hats!
The kitchen is a chef's dream with high-end appliances, ample counter space, and a breakfast bar. The adjacent dining area features a spacious table for the whole family and even includes a high chair for little ones! The bedrooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, with very comfortable beds. We loved having two master suites with ensuites and appreciated the provided playpen for our daughter.
We made great memories around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows (marshmallow sticks provided!) and enjoying the nearby beach with the wagon for our beach toys. We wish we had more time to enjoy the outdoor games like ladderball, beanbags and croquet.
Overall, the lakehouse is perfect for families seeking relaxation and adventure, with every detail thoughtfully considered. Marsha was quick to respond to my questions and extremely pleasant to communicate with. Thank you Marsha, we'll be back!

| My family and I had an excellent stay at this cottage. Marsha was very helpful and prompt in all responses. The cottage is so well equipped, from linens to shampoo, all sorts of games and everything you could need in the kitchen (we were particularly happy to find a crock pot). Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, amazing soaking tub, check in and out was simple - I could go on! I highly recommend this cottage to anyone!

| We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this charming cottage! We are a group of 6 adults and 2 children and this cottage was perfect!
It is just a short walk to a wonderful little beach which was great for swimming and watching sunsets.
The spacious rooms were a pleasant surprise, and provided plenty of private space for us to relax and unwind.
The shed had many fun lawn games and a few wagons which we used to take the kids down to the beach with.
The entire cottage is very clean and well organized. The kitchen is large and very well equipped which made cooking for our large group much easier.
I must mention Marsha, the host, whose extraordinary helpfulness added a personal touch to our experience. I can't wait to return to this delightful cottage for another unforgettable getaway!
I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for an amazing stay on Lake Huron.
