This Quiet Family Cozy Cottage Waterfront Property sits on Mississippi Lake. This 3 Bedroom cottage sleeps 4 max. has a stunning view facing South with beautiful West Sunsets with great swimming. Enough lawn space to spread out and play. Full Renovations to the entire cottage winter 2022 with lots of amenities. The cottage sits on a private road and the location is great for swimming, boating, fishing, touring, biking, hiking, trails, walking, shopping, and so much more. This cottage will capture your heart because it offers the full waterside cottage experience while living in a cozy cottage family style home in a stunning grove of towering trees. This area of the Mississippi Lake consists of sand and rock. Kids can wade out a good long way in complete safety as the water remains shallow. A wonderful place to learn to swim. A nice little dock for a boat or just to bask after a swim. You can paddle around or drift for an afternoon in tranquility. There is a long gentle open lawn for outdoor sports. The cottage looks out over the lake and enjoys a stunning sunset, living room for sunrise and main lawn as the sun sets directly across the lake and washes everything in golden light. BBQ out the back or enjoy a marshmallow roast at the waterfront fire pit. Mississippi lake is also worth a wee search. It is renowned for its wide variety of quality game fish. There is no end to the exploration on this large lake which connects to neighbouring waterways. The cottage is situated at the end of a quiet dead-end road away from the main traffic, and you are minutes from town if you need anything. If you want to go for a drive one day, there are lovely country roads to explore. You can head to the provincial nature preserve across the lake or take in a round of golf at the nearby courses. Beautiful historic Perth is twenty minutes away and is a joy to walk around. The downtown is littered with historic stone buildings, great restaurants, antique and gift shops. Come for a treat at the local bakery or put a few hours in at the gym. Take in a music festival, a farmer's market or fair. Almonte is also twenty minutes away offering the same as Perth. Cottage Includes: Linens for all bed types, AC/Heat/Fibe Internet, Netflix, 3 DVD players and tones of movies (kids movies as well), 4 TV's, digital TV, oven, fridge, dishes, cutlery, toaster, Microwave, coffee station, coffee maker, coffee filters, coffee, Flavored Syrups, hot chocolate, tea pot, herbal tea, water cooler dispenser, 1 jug of water, BBQ with 1 full propane tank, 1 canoe, 2 adult & 2 kids Life Jackets, games, dock, firepit, lounging chairs, picnic area, and some kids water toys.
NOTE: Water is UV from the Well. 1 water cooler jug will be provided for each 1 week stay.
This is our family cottage, so we ask you to respect our no-smoking and no pets policy. Unfortunately, No Events or Parties. This is very much a tranquil, couples or family-oriented place, please respect the quietness and the neighbours who live here. The Cottage is 4 persons maximum on premises at all times (strictly enforced) unless arranged prior, and NO TENTS on premises. , 1 parking spot only, Upon Departure: Please leave the cottage in the way you received it. | Having a fabulous time. Great location and close to town with beautiful views of the lake and fantastic sunsets. The cottage is equipped with everything extremely clean, and the beds are very comfortable. It's so close to the water. It's almost like being on an infinity cottage. Great fire pit to relax and enjoy the evenings. Went on a canoe ride around the shoreline. The owners are great and if we need them, they're a phone call away.. thanks for a great holiday. Hope to see you again soon.

| This is a very special cottage and has been our annual getaway location for several years now! The owners, Sam and Lauri, are so kind, friendly, and yet not hovering around! The cottage itself is immaculate, cozy, and with an amazing waterfront view. It's the perfect spot to step back from the busyness of the world and enjoy the peace and quiet, go for walks, or enjoy the water.

| We are so thankful for the wonderful hospitality of Lauri and Sam! The cottage is our annual "go to" place for getting away from it all in a scenic serene, picturesque spot! The cottage is well furnished, and our hosts went all out to welcome us with the note and treats. We enjoyed the clean cottage, and beautiful scenery nearby! An added advantage was having them available for any help needed, which they are only too happy to give. Yet they gave us privacy and time to recharge and having stayed there several times, we can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay! Bruce and Grace

| We had a wonderful summer at the cottage. It is in a perfect spot- beautiful, private and peaceful yet close to town, with the lake access on the doorstep, private dock and superb views (can enjoy with both sunrise and sunset from the sitting room) The cottage is bright, spotless and well equipped. Lauri and Sam are fantastic hosts - warm, friendly, quick to respond to enquiries and happy to help with any issue. Fabulous!

| Laurie and Sam are wonderful hosts ..they were always available if needed..yet also respected my privacy.
The cottage is tastefully decorated with such lovely touches of decor , simple yet well done . ..entire cottage is VERY clean and comfortable.
I definitely give a five star.. and thanks for the welcoming note and wine..bonus for sure.
Great location and beautiful spot on Mississippi Lake..almost felt like I was on a houseboat..very close to the water.
