The space
Located just 3 hours from the GTA, The Lakeside Retreat is a fully winterized, beautifully updated waterfront cottage designed for unforgettable year-round escapes. Perched on an elevated, tree-lined lot, the cottage offers stunning lake views from the living room, dining room, and two bedrooms. A rustic walking trail with a moderate slope leads down to the waterfront dock, allowing you to experience the beauty of the lake while embracing the natural landscape.
Unwind in the sunken living room featuring a large reclining leather sofa, cozy wood stove, and 60" Smart TV with Satellite, Netflix, and Crave. Step outside to two spacious lakeside decks, including one with a BBQ and outdoor dining area, or relax on the waterfront dock, perfectly positioned to enjoy the sunshine and breathtaking sunsets.
Please note that the patio furniture and dock are seasonal amenities and are removed from approximately October through May for winter storage and protection. While the waterfront remains beautiful year-round, these outdoor features are available during the warmer months.
The property offers a large, flat grassy area ideal for lawn games, with a scenic trail leading down to the water. Spend your evenings gathered around one of two beautifully lit fire pits while taking in spectacular western sunsets over the lake.
Outdoor enthusiasts will love the year-round recreation this location offers, with nearby OFSC snowmobile trails, extensive ATV trails, excellent fishing, and a boat launch just 5 minutes away for those bringing their own watercraft. Guest access
Guests will have full private access to the entire cottage and all outdoor amenities during their stay. Enjoy both spacious lakeview patios, the private waterfront dock, BBQ area, and two beautifully lit fire pits overlooking the lake.
Guests are welcome to use the provided paddle boat and kayaks to explore the water, along with four adult life jackets available for added convenience and safety.
Guests will also have access to the detached shop, offering an additional space to relax and enjoy. The shop features a cozy wood stove, dart board, and storage for water equipment. Snowmobile enthusiasts can take full advantage of this space by parking their sleds inside after a day of riding, providing a convenient and sheltered area to store equipment and warm up.
The cottage, shop, outdoor spaces, and waterfront area are all yours to enjoy. Whether you're relaxing on the deck, spending the afternoon by the dock, enjoying a meal outside, playing games in the shop, or gathering around the fire in the evening, you'll have everything you need for a memorable lakefront getaway in every season.

With direct access to nearby OFSC snowmobile trails, extensive ATV trails throughout the area, and plenty of space for trailer parking, bringing your toys and gear is easy and convenient. Guests bringing their own boat will appreciate the convenient boat launch located just 5 minutes away, making it simple to get out on the water and enjoy everything the lake has to offer.
