Now Booking Summer 2024! (Check us out on Instagram @littlebuckcottage) Cozy 3 bedroom family cottage located on a quiet and serene spot on Buckhorn Lake. Shallow rocky entry into the water, great place for kids to play and swim! Spend your day on the water kayaking or paddle boarding and spend your evenings around the campfire (firewood included). If you have your own boat or are looking to rent one there is a boat launch very close to the cottage. Inside you will find 3 bedrooms; 2 with double beds and 1 with a queen bed. All bedrooms have brand new fans to keep you cool in the evening. Please note that linens are not included in the rental. Open concept living/ dining and a fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Bonus sunroom which is perfect for reading a book or enjoying your morning coffee. This room is stocked with lots of board games and puzzles for those rainy days. There is also a covered porch that faces the water AND a large screened in porch with a dining table and seating area. All rooms have beautiful views of the lake! Outside you can enjoy a BBQ lunch or dinner, eat at the picnic table and play some outdoor games.
The cottage is less than 10 mins from the town of Buckhorn which has a grocery store, LCBO, bait & tackle shop, general store, restaurants, ice cream shops etc! It's also a great place to watch the boats go through the locks.
Close by you will also find Kawartha Wineries, 6 Foot Bay Golf Course and McLean Berry Farm if you are looking for an outing!

| This home away from home was such a treat! Little Buck smelled amazing when we walked in. With its cozy interior, multiple options for socializing/dining, and an array of outdoor activity, the days we were there just flew by. Not only was it spacious, comfy and very well maintained, Buckhorn is very cute and not a far drive from the cottage proper should you forget anything or wish to explore. As a group, we would suggest Little Buck to all.

| We had such a lovely stay at this cottage. The hosts were so easy to work with, everything is exactly as described. The setting is truly lovely, including the waterside campfire. Our family loved the screened in porch for dining and hanging out. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities. Beds were comfy and the whole place was lovely and fresh. Lots of space for our family of 5, We hope to visit again!

| We absolutely loved our stay at Little Buck Cottage. We were lucky enough to spend 2 weeks here. It was such a wonderful escape with everything you need and more for an enjoyable cottage stay. Andrea was incredibly attentive and was always quick to respond in preparation for our stay, and to update us during our stay to let us know the current fire ban had been lifted. The cottage is incredibly clean and welcoming, and there are so many different spaces that let us spread out and enjoy. We loved the large screened in porch for breakfasts and dinners. The waterfront was clear for swimming. We absolutely love that the property is dog friendly, our pups loved being outside with us and by the water. The only draw back was the water pressure in the shower but that won't stop us from visiting again. We hope to be back to enjoy again next summer. Thank you for everything Andrea!

| We had a lovely stay at Little Buck cottage. The kitchen was well equipped with good quality utensils, pots/pans and appliances etc. which was a great bonus. We made use of the paddle boards and kayaks and enjoyed exploring the lake, jumping into the water further away from the cottage rather than off the dock. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms were very helpful and quiet, as the nights were still warm out. BBQ is brand new and in perfect working order. Andrea was a great host and very responsive!! Thanks for everything!

| Excellent cottage ! Very clean and organized. My daughter, husband and parents all had a wonderful stay there. The fire pit over looking the water was beautiful to enjoy with the sunset. The screened in patio was amazing to play games outside without getting bit by mosquitos. My family and I can't wait to book again next year!
