Looking for the perfect place to relax, spend time with family, have a friends get together or just get away....this is for you!!!
When you step inside, you will find a large accommodating living room, 2 full bathrooms, sitting area, screened in portion of porch with the remaining porch open for viewing and listening to nature and of course a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, silverware etc...and stepping into the great outdoors you can bbq., sit by the firepit or go down to the lake where you will find a pedal boat and a canoe and just relax.
We have 2 take out restaurants close by and a gas station and also a place you can rent canoes if you so wish. There is also a boat launch less than 5 kms if you wish to bring your motorboat.
In the winter, there are some public skating arenas close by and also skiing approximately 45 kms to Calabogie.
PS....For more than 6 guests, there is an additional $100.00 /guest for the duration of their stay...(not per night)

| Beautiful, bright, airy cottage, smelling of pine, located on a quiet road.I came here looking for peace and quiet and it was perfect!
I loved that the main floor is divided into separate areas, each with their own set of light switches.
The dining table is large enough to set up board games.
The wrap-around deck was very enjoyable, and I really liked that there were several ways to get out there, including the screened in portion, which looked ever so inviting (it was too cold to enjoy it when I was there, but had it not been for that, i'd have spent a lot of time out there, I am sure).
The kitchen is well equipped. Gas stove cooks stuff very quickly. The water is very hot!
The wi-fi is reliable. Two large TVs (i didn't use the downstairs one, but the one upstairs was great).
Shower pressure was amazing. Bed was very comfortable!
I loved the view onto the water from the sitting room. The spot right by the water is charming, and I'd have spent a lot more time there, if the weather had been a bit warmer.
I did find it a bit of a challenge to climb all those stairs back up, but it was an added bonus, in my opinion, as i really wanted to do some physical activity during my stay. So.. if you're just out of shape, no worries, just take it easy and you'll get there! :)
Dora was very prompt in responding to my inquiries.
Bottom line -- awesome place to stay! I hope to return there at a different, warmer, time of year.

| This place was beautiful. Great thorough accurate intrusions, jaw dropping space and property. We enjoyed each and every moment. Dora was great in commutation and made us feel comfortable and taken care of.Amenities were top notch, space was spotless and we had a blast by the fire pit.
I can't recommend enough, we loved our stay, thank you Dora!!

| I will start by saying Dora is nice and the cottage was clean. Unfornately that is where it stops. Initial communication wasn't easy, just asked how was the fishing and couldn't really get a straight answer. Initially quoted a price only to be told its going to be extra since we have a dog, however I had already mentioned that we had a dog when booking. Don't think you can have a bath, because the water fills so slow it takes literally 3.5 hours to fill up. The TV color is broken Worst of all the BBQ does not work properly or sometimes at all. Its a pain. BBQ slowly dies as your using it and does not maintain temperature, making it hard to cook things properly like steaks. When we intially called the first night when we realized the BBQ wasn't working Dorra promised to comeby the next day to see if they could fix it. They couldn't and brought an electric BBQ that wasn't working either. Eventually she got the regular BBQ working enought to quickly cook easy things like hot dogs but not anything that would take longer. The problem was that when she couldn't get the BBQ working, I asked well what are we going to do if you can't get it to work? She basically just said "tough luck"...Ugh no, I am not renting a cottage without a BBQ. I am paying a lot of money, its really bad customer service to say sorry stuffs happens. If you can't make it work then figure it out and either get us one to work or give us some sort of discount. We had bought a freezer full of meat to BBQ.

Owner response: Igor, I am so sorry you were still having issues after I came with the portable propane bbq. Once I had the big bbq working and producing alot of heat, you had agreed to me and your wife that yes this will now work..so I left with portable propane bbq and as I left, I asked you to message me if any issues..I even recommended a cast iron pan to go on propane stove which we supplied. When I didn't hear back from you, I naturally assumed everything was still ok...so reading this now and still no messages from you is a complete surprise. I am truly sorry you are leaving feeling unsatisfied and I am sorry you didn't reach out to me. I went over twice..once because you said propane was empty so I brought a full one, then again when you said you had issue with bbq. If I knew you still had issue, I would have brought another bbq but you didnt say anything except when I left that yes, thank you, this will work just fine. I try to go out of my way to help guests enjoy their holiday and I am so sorry that you are leaving disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting your parents and wishing him successful fishing because as we had said...people have been lucky fishing but of course we cannot guarantee..which he totally understood.. | |

| This is the second time we have rented the cottage, I/we are pleased with everything available, Dora has been quite accommodating, since we usually like to drop off some items earlier if cottage not booked. We are out all day/ traveling/enjoying the Fall foliage, return in the evening, grate for our enjoyment. Many thanks to the owner/owners for having us.

| Absolutely an amazing place.Beautiful lake view with a nature feeling makes a great place to get away from city living .
Our room was spacious, bright and well decorated.Overall cottage was super clean and well equipped with everything.
We really enjoyed the ambience.
Highly recommended.
