Located just over 2 hours from Toronto, this cozy Kawartha Lakes, lakefront cottage is on a small, very peaceful lake that is perfect for small families or couples. Our lot is large, private, and surrounded by nature. This is what cottage country is all about!
This is a rare find as the lake is limited to 10hp motors so the lake is always quiet, and there is almost never any boat traffic. Enjoy our large floating dock and fully enclosed lakeside gazebo with more than enough room for everyone. Because the lake is small, the water warms up very quickly making it perfect for swimming. Great for fishing, the lake has smallmouth bass and musky.
For fun on the water, we have a paddle board, canoe, paddle boat, row boat (with fishing platform) and 15 foot floating mat (life jackets available).
The lake bottom is mostly sandy with small to medium sized rocks. The water depth gradually increases so you can either walk in slowly from the shore, or jump right off the end of the dock.
Cell phone reception is generally very good but best down on the dock for those working remotely. High speed internet to stay connected or enjoy some Netflix at night.
The lake always has a family of loons, one of our favourite features of the lake. Crack a window at night or relax in the gazebo and hear the loon calls echo across the lake.

| Another wonderful stay at this cottage on Crego Lake. This property has an abundance of charm, with all the amenities to ensure you have the best possible time enjoying the Kawartha's.
Nick the host is always available to answer questions whether booking or already occupying the cottage.
Year to year upgrades are always being done to enhance our stay.
And the loons who reside on the lake are so entertaining.

| Such a charming, picturesque cottage! From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and at home. The lot is a very generous size so the neighbors are a good distance away. There are lots of trees as well which not only makes you feel like you're in true cottage country, but also helps with privacy. The cottage was well appointed and had everything we needed. The lake was perfect for swimming, the water was very warm. We kept busy exploring the lake in the paddleboat and paddle board. We loved how quiet the lake was, it's so peaceful. We will definitely be back!

| We had an amazing time at Nick's cottage. This was our second time staying there and we will definitely be back. It's super private and quiet, we felt like we had the lake to ourselves. The dock and gazebo set up are perfect, so relaxing. Lots to do with all the water toys. The cottage itself is very charming and rustic, exactly what we want in a cottage. Beds are clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. Highly recommended.
