A 25-min drive in the other direction will bring you to Sarnia with its great beaches, parks, dining and shopping. If you feel like exploring even further, we definitely recommend driving the Lakeshore Road all the way up to Goderich, nick-named Ontario's prettiest town (just over an hour), with lots of stop on the way for treats, antiques stores, souvenirs and sightseeing. And of course you can explore farmers markets, horse riding farms, country roads to be cycled on, and much more...

| We had a lovely family stay at Cliff Haven on Huron. It's a beautiful place with an amazing view, and, if you need rest, this is the place to go. It's a well built home with excellent windows that keep the noise out and the floors have no creaking. This of course, results in amazing sleep at night, because it's quiet. No, I mean it's quiet... amazing...
We spent several nights by the cliffside firepit overlooking Lake Huron. You're in for a treat as the you watch those gorgeous orange Lake Huron sunsets. We stayed in one night to watch the Jays on the large TV - I would guess about 60-70 inches. It had several digital services we enjoyed. The free internet service worked well for us. The shower in the basement was a pleasure, with a wall high shower fixture that hits you in every direction possible. We also used the BBQ several times, and it is a large sized Webber that should meet your needs.
The hosts were fabulous, as we were welcomed by a hand written note and a wonderful bottle of wine. There were plenty of blankets and towels, and the hosts also provided quality soaps, hand lotions etc.. There is good quality gravity fed water filter, if you want to use it... we happily did...
My family needed rest, and we got it at Cliff Haven. Everyone slept well, had long walks and enjoyed the views. We will likely return as a family - thank you again to the hosts - we appreciated your hospiltality - ciao

| This is our fourth time back to this amazing place. The cottage feels like home for our family. Super clean, very comfortable, so nice and quiet. The cottage has everything you would need; comfy beds, great furniture, well planned kitchen, laundry facilities, great fire pit with the best lake view. DVD player, toys, books and games for the kids. On top of that, beautiful water view on the Lake Huron. This place is adorable, we are certainly hoping to go back again.

| We had the best time at the cottage this week. That lake view is just incredible and the sound of the water was so relaxing. We started and ended each day down by the firepit enjoying that view. Everyone we ran into in the neighborhood or nearby towns were so friendly and the beaches were just amazing; we love Lake Huron. Thank you so much for hosting us and we hope to return again next year!

| Our second stay at Cliff Haven on Huron was just as amazing as the first. The cottage is spotless, modern, and fully equipped with everything you need. But the real highlight is the breathtaking lake view — watching the sunset by the firepit each evening is truly unforgettable. We'll definitely miss it and can't wait to come back!
