Pristine, private cottage on Robertson Lake, Ontario. This cottage is a paddler's Dream, perfect for your summer retreat with Family and Friends. We have hosted a number of visual artists and musicians who are inspired by the Lake and Landscapes. Surrounded by Crown Land, you will be inspired by the breathtaking view from the end of the dock and the relaxing atmosphere inside and outside. The massive screened in porch overlooks the beautiful waterfront and allows for relaxing and lounging with a book and having meals outdoors while still screened in. Safe for kids, this cottage is located on a private road, with no traffic and plenty of space to set up badminton or go for a hike along the many trails on the Crown Land surrounding the cottage. The gentle slope to the waterfront ensures the property is accessible for anyone who is mobility challenged. Elders appreciate the accessibility to the waterfront and the one level cottage. A canoe, kayaks and a paddleboat are available to use. No Jetskis… this is not a Lake for high powered water craft. The kitchen is equipped with everything and anything you need. Well water is drinkable from the tap, no need to bring your own. A community beach and playground are a 5 minute drive on one end of Robertson lake. The lake itself is renowned for its clear, clean water, fishing wildlife and swimming. Paddle over to an island and spend the day swimming off a true Canadian Shield outcrop or just bask in the sun before you head back to this cozy cottage that leaves people inspired and relaxed. Two queen beds with premium mattresses in separate rooms, third room has a set of bunk beds. All rooms have closet and storage space as well as a dresser or shelves for clothing storage. The cottage is only a 3.5 hour drive from Toronto. It is a 30 minute drive from Almonte, Ontario....great for day trips and shopping. *Given consideration for those with allergies, Dogs will only be considered on a case by case basis, no more than 1 dog.
