Welcome to your Oasis! Only 1.5 h from the GTA - you are far enough to be surrounded by nature, but close enough to restaurants, shops, & entertainment. **Minimum stays and rates vary monthly so please don't hesitate to inquire with us if you're not sure what dates/ rates are available.
Walk out to breathtaking sunsets & views of the Blue Mountains in the horizon. You're just steps from the beach through the backyard, where the clear water is perfect for kids of all ages. Then relax in the newly renovated open concept cottage where soaring cathedral ceilings & large windows bring the outside in.
This large property stretches over 300 feet from the road to the beach! We have 2 cottages on this property, one is our rental and the other is just used for our storage (unoccupied). As you pull into the long driveway you will come up to our first cottage. This 1400 sqft cottage has a front and back deck so you can take advantage of the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The main level of the cottage has an open concept living room/ kitchen with a small 2 piece washroom. A few stairs lead up to the back of the house with 4 large bedrooms and the main 4 piece bathroom. The two back rooms have sliding doors so you can enjoy water views from the comfort of your bed or walk out to the large back deck where you can listen to water hitting the shore.
As you enter the large backyard you will see a beautiful stone staircase, which leads you to the second cottage that sits near the beach (no acces). Swimming is amazing along the waterfront with a gradual shallow entry. The beach is currently a mix of rock and sand. The rocks extend for 10-15 feet into the water and then the sandy bottom begins. The water is crystal clear with no seaweed.

INSIDE ACCESS: Access to the basement is not provided as well as a few locked kitchen cabinets, and one closet that are for Owner use only.
OUTSIDE ACCESS: You have access to the entire property, except the second cottage near the beach. The second cottage is not occupied, but you are not permitted to enter. The shed is also for Owner use only.
The property has exterior security devices capable of recording video or still images. These devices will be aimed at driveway, main entrance, and second unoccupied cottage.

| This is the 3rd or 4th time we've stayed at this cottage and each time has been a great experience. It has the kitchen accessories to cook meals, it's whole space is clean and well supplied so you're not bringing everything you own to stay for a weekend. The addition of the dishwasher is highly appreciated as well. Would definitely stay here again!

The water is very clean and see-through
Close to Toronto and the town if you need to shop for forgotten things
Cottage is spacious, clean with nice interior
4 bedrooms have 1 bed in each room, so get an air mattress if you have smaller kids
Firepit area is very nice and cozy, and they have many extra outdoor chairs
Bbq uses natural gas, so you will not run out
They have a SUP, which is cool
The lake has waves like the ocean sometimes
The sunsets are beautiful
Kitchen has most of the things you need: coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, but no sharp knives
Large area with shallow waters good for kids and deep areas good for adults
Walking distance to a store and a park with another sandy beach
They have TV with Netflix, good wifi and lots of games in the house
Cons:
In the beginning of the water lots of slippery rocks that hurt your feet, so pack water shoes with you
Couches in the living room are very uncomfortable, so don't count on sleeping on them
No smoking on decks was a disappointment too as I was looking forward to having my cigarette and coffee in the morning over watching the waves
No access to laundry and you get only one body size towel per guest, so make sure you pack extra towels with you for the beach and other times you take a shower during your stay
No good frying pans and no sharp knives, so if you love cooking - bring your own

| Enjoyed a two week stay. Cottage is clean and comfortable with 4 spacious bedrooms. Outdoor deck is good for dining and bbqing. Large yard and climbing structure for kids. Beach directly in front is rocky, but there is sand nearby and water is sandy once you get out about 12 feet from shore and has a very gradual increase in depth. Walking distance to nearby stores and 10 minute drive to Walmart. Stand up paddleboard is a nice feature. Gus and Maria were responsive to an issue we had with the microwave and found a solution.

| Had a great experience booking with Maria and Gus. My group and I had an unfortunate last minute cancellation at a different cottage, Maria and Gus were able to accommodate our group and exceed all expectations that we had. The cottage was in great condition when we arrived, was contacted and been told clear instructions, as well as clear step by steps on how to leave the cottage. If I had any questions, Maria was quick to respond at the time being. The cottage is larger than what the pictures seem as well, the main area was a nice wide open concept. Would definitely stay again in the future, thank you Maria and Gus for your hospitality!
