This cottage provides a classic cottage experience. It's nestled in pine trees just steps from the lake. The furniture is very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed. The owner is approachable and, most importantly, the view really is stunning.

You can enjoy a slow and simple vacation, with a view that will make it hard to focus on your book, or you can venture out to enjoy one of the many attractions in the area.

Thank you Margaret for your kind words! Come back anytime to relive the experience.

This cottage was a perfect fit for us !
Right on the water, big windows with lots of room for everyone,
and has a beautiful cottage feel to it. I would recommend this place highly if you are looking for a cottage to escape to and not a monster house on the water.

Thank you Jane for your kind words!

What a perfect getaway we enjoyed at this gem on the shores of Lake Huron! The perfect place to relax and listen to the waves, hike the beach in to Grand Bend or all the way to the Pinery and beyond! This cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - plenty of room to relax both inside and out, comfortable and clean beds, well appointed kitchen and kayaks as well. The unique architecture of the cottage allowed vast amounts of light in, and provided a stunning view of the lake. A separate viewing platform down the path towards the water was a special spot to enjoy a coffee and a good book! We look forward to returning!

Glad you enjoyed it and thanks so much for your positive words!

Had a fabulous stay at this cottage. Highlights include the waterfront with the gorgeous sunsets and great swimming. Water was clear with sandy bottom that seemed to go on for miles. There was also a private beach to only residents and guests staying in the area. The cottage was spacious and had all the comforts we needed for our 2 weeks stay. We walked to Grand Bend (also a large public beach) and enjoyed the outdoor music shows that were showcasing every weekend. On the couple of rainy days had, we took a drive to Bayfield (25 minutes) to view a couple of galleries and had great wood oven pizzas and the other day we visited Stratford. There are a lot of trails, including the River Path. It was great to have the conveniences of Sobeys, LCBO, Home Depot and even Pet Valu just a few minutes drive away. This is definitely our goto place for the summer and look forward to going back again!

Owner response:
So glad your family enjoyed our cottage! We loved hosting you and appreciate your great review of all the things to do in the area.

Perfect spot right on the lake with the advantages of both town and country. We appreciated being close to the activities, restaurants and the fun of Grand Bend, rented jet skis and enjoyed the Café close to the marina. The cottage itself, however, is private and quiet, with amazing views. The great room is unique and spectacular. We enjoyed kayaking, though launching them was tricky. We didn't want to leave this cottage!
