Cozy Rice Lake Retreat is a five minute drive from the town of Hastings, nestled on Trent Severn River into Rice lake. The sunsets are always beautiful with stunning views of the lake. Excellent lake for fishing, such as Pickerel, bass and more! We have a new dock to park your boat to venture the lake during your visit. The cottage has had some renovations, there is an added room with a living area providing a wonderful view of the lake. We do have two bedrooms, a seperate area with a murphy bed that pulls out and can sleep two. We have a full bathroom with shower. A full kitchen, and barbeque. A beautiful seating area on the deck as well on the dock to look out at the lake. Great swimming, wonderful cottage for children. Very close to town where there is a Valumart, LCBO, Banking, restaurants and a Marina. Campbellford is a ten minute drive, Norwood a five minute drive. We have two canoes, life jackets. The cottage is pet friendly with approval. The cottage has a firepit, children's swing set, and a great area to play outdoor games. | From the moment we drove up and saw the welcome sign next to the bright red door I knew this would be my happy place! As I walked into the cottage to see comfy couches full of pillows and a magnificent lake view it was like a Christmas morning where you get one perfect present after another! The yard was a dream with a dock beckoning you to enjoy the lake. The bunkie and kid's bunk bed room had everything a child could ask for. The front and backyard furniture had relax, refresh, and enjoy all over them. Inside every cupboard held a happy surprise whether it be binoculars for bird watching, a rawhide bone for the dog or Foosball. Everything you could need was there. The rooms were all clean, fresh, and welcoming. I have been all over the world and this has been one of my favorites. Thank you!

| It all started with contacting the owner. The owner was very quick to respond to all my questions and queries about renting the cottage. When we arrived at the cottage there was a welcoming package. I cannot express enough how clean tidy well decorated and welcoming the cottage was for us a family of four, two adults two children under the age of 10. The amenities were plenty both inside and outside. Call me the cottage was a home away from home it had everything that we could possibly want and need in a cottage. The water was warm.
It was perfect!
I did not want to leave!
My kids loved every minute!
I highly recommend this cottage! We will be booking again! As soon as possible!
