Welcome to our little paradise tucked away in the heart of Kawartha cottage country. Located on Big Bald Lake with over 200 feet of lake frontage and plenty of flat grass area. This four-season cottage is just north of Peterborough, less than 2 hours from downtown Toronto. The home is air conditioned with 3 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 double & 1 bunk bed twin over double]). Additionally there is a queen blow-up mattress and a single foam mattress available to further accommodate. The kitchen and living room is great for entertaining and has windows all the way around. We have the fastest internet/ WIFI in cottage country with one of the few Starlink Internet connections available. We provide Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and Paramount Plus on our smart TV. The dining room also has full lake views.
We have board games, books and puzzles.
Outside there is a lakeside deck with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. The deck has a table with seating for 6, and there is a picnic table by the BBQ.
The lakefront is grass walk up with a floating dock which get both morning & afternoon sun. Both walk-in and dock access to the lake are available, which is mostly rock bottom and usually clear enough to see right to the bottom. Most of our water toys/equipment is kept in the boat house which is fully accessible.
There is a fire-pit area on the lakeside, perfect for enjoying the evenings and star-gazing. You are required to bring your own-firewood.

| This beautiful cottage surpassed all of our expectations! We had a lovely weekend with our kids and their friends enjoying the lake with all the outdoor amenities. Paddled out to the cliffs so the kids could do some cliff jumping. The inside is spotless, decorated beautifully with all amenities. Cooking for 4 teenagers was a breeze. Night fires and s'mores with the beautiful view of the lake was perfect. Had a great game of soccer on the grassy area while my wife fished off the dock. We just loved it. It was exactly what Canadian cottage dreams are made of. Can't wait to rent for a week next year!!!

| Wonderful little piece of paradise on Big Bald Lake! Cottage was clean, well equipped and decorated so nicely! Air conditioning and wifi made our stay even better. Kayaks, paddleboards, canoe, firepit.......lots to do:) Perfect place to relax and unwind. We will definitely return!

| Very nice cottage, beautiful view.
Lots of nice grass areas to sit in shade or sun light.
Water was very warm.
Cottage was air conditioned and worked well.
Nice fire pit and lots of Muskoka chairs to enjoy the fire.
Nice deck with barbecue and table and chair to enjoy outdoor meals

| Beautiful property! Hosts are quick to respond to any concerns or questions. House is well stocked and furniture is comfortable. You'll feel the hum of serenity as you float on big bald lake. Highly recommend!

| Our family had a great time. Lots to do in town and on the lake! We went cliff jumping and swam to the islands on the lake, the water was great. Definitely would rent again.
