Located on the shores of Indian River / Lake Muskoka, and minutes to the amenities of Port Carling, This incredible family cottage is located in the hub of Muskoka Lakes. Venture out by boat, Lake Joseph and Lake Rosseau are easily accessible through the Port Carling locks within minutes, you'll find tons of water activities and no shortage of destinations for
dining, shopping and sight seeing. Convenient boat rentals and charters offered at Bala Cove Marina, just
a 15 min drive away.
This cottage boasts a fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops which opens onto the open concept living and dining room and & dining area, floor to ceiling patio doors offers an expansive water view. A large deck offers the perfect space to enjoy a BBQ by the water. Spend the day swimming in the water which has shallow water entry and gets deeper as you go out. After a long day guests can gather by the fire-pit and share stories of the day or enjoy S'mores.
For those guests with a longer stay, there is washer and
dryer for your convenience. When it is time to wind
down, this property has 3 bedrooms in the main level

| We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cottage. The space was spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The temperature control and air conditioning kept everything perfectly comfortable, and the kitchen was both highly functional and well stocked with everything we needed.
The views of the water were stunning—you could watch boats pass by while enjoying the warm, clear lake. The dock was a great spot to relax, and we loved being able to use the paddleboards and kayaks provided. The hot tub was a highlight, offering incredible views of the water in complete privacy.
The host was warm and welcoming, and it really felt like everything had been thought of—there wasn't anything we wanted for. The location was also perfect: just a short walk into Port Carling, with a grocery store nearby for convenience.
Overall, this was an exceptional stay. Between the amazing amenities, beautiful setting, and thoughtful touches, we would love to come back again!

| Coziest Winter Cottage!!
We had an absolutely amazing stay at Water's Edge ! Enjoying a bonfire in the snow, then retreating to the sauna and hot tub while looking out at the stars and snowy landscape was positively luxurious.
The main floor is very spacious and perfect for both entertaining as well as cozying up with a book. The big windows give the main floor wonderful natural light and a wonderful view out over the river. The cottage is modern and spotless, and the kitchen was well appointed with everything we could need. All the rooms were very comfortable, with a very spacious master bedroom and ensuite and a supremely comfortable bed.
Dorothy was an amazing host, answering all our questions and letting us know what activities were available in the surrounding area. I highly recommend this cottage and look forward to staying again!

| Water's Edge is a little piece of heaven on earth!!
The cottage is spotless, well equipped, spacious and the views of the lake are spectacular.
We visited for 3 days and enjoyed fishing, kayaking hot tub and sauna. It was the perfect family get away and Dorothy was the most gracious host.
We will be back for a longer stay !!

| The Water's Edge in Port Carling is a picturesque place to stay! The location couldn't be any better with a dock at your door step, just a short 10 minute walk to down and a bonus of a hot tub, sauna and paddle boards. The interior is updated, modern and clean! Dorothy our host was extremely kind, giving us some insight on the best places to visit in town and letting us check-in early. A perfect place for a little gate-away! | This cottage has it all!! Breathtaking Views from every angle. Fully stocked kitchen, beautiful modern appliances, huge primary room with ensuite. Hot tub, sauna! Our family of six had comfortable rooms, easy entertaining, and Dorothy was easily accessible, although we only reached/needed her one time! We will plan to come back, its everything we needed!
