McDougall Family Cottage is a park model cottage located in The Happy Summer Village Resort. Our cottage is right on Trout Lake therefore you can sit and enjoy the water view all day long if you so desire. The water is just a few feet away so you will have plenty of opportunities to catch a variety of fish, kayak, paddle board, swim or just laze around in the water.

The Park is quiet and small - an amazing getaway from the busy city life! Everything you could possibly need is included - from kitchen utensils to board games/video games to floaties for the water. Just load up the car with your family and friends! We'll even provide your firewood so you can enjoy a nice quiet evening by the fire and of course making smores!

It's a very comfortable and well equipped Cottage for you and your family to enjoy.

The cottage is located in a family park. While the park doesn't enforce a long list of rules, there is a general respect and consideration that is required of all using the property. Generally, quiet hours should be observed between 10pm and 8am.

The Cottage is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after every stay. We request that you bring your own linens and towels. We provide the kitchen towels and dish cloths as well as cleaning supplies, toilet paper, Kleenex and napkins.

We are available by text or email at any point during your stay should you have any questions or need assistance. The park property manager lives onsite for any urgent matters.
