If you are looking for a quiet escape to nature, this is the place for you! This secluded, private 2 BR cottage on a quiet lake is surrounded by 88 acres of natural forest and meadows - with no neighbours in sight! A birders paradise! The cottage is clean, modern, and very well maintained.

We provide all bedding, towels, kitchen linens, firewood, drinking water - all you need to pack is your food!

Things to do...

- Enjoy the wildlife: watch resident beavers and pelicans swimming near the beach, enjoy your morning coffee to the sound of countless songbirds and listen to the coyotes and elk calling in the evening.

- Explore the properties' 88-acres of natural beauty

- Hike or bike the property's marked trails along the lake, through the forest and beside the gorge

- Watch the famed sunsets from the screened porch or from the lakeside hammock

- Use the canoe or kayaks provided to paddle the lake or go fishing

- Have a wiener roast around the fire at the water's edge

- Enjoy an evening of watching movies or playing table games (assortment provided)

- Launch your boat from the public boat launch next to the property

Peaceful, tranquil, amazing views, tons of privacy!
If you're looking for a secluded place to relax from hectic city life this is the place. Perfect calm lake for canoeing and kayaking. Lots to do and see within a short drive away! We will definitely be back!!!

We were very happy with our choice to stay here. It is so quiet and peaceful with a beautiful lake front property. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing and the trails on the property are really neat for exploring around the area. The cabin was comfortable, beds were comfy as well and it was very clean. Weather was a little cool so we used the wood stove a couple times which was so nice and cozy. Vonda was very responsive to emails and communication was great!

This cottage is a fantastic spot if your looking for peace, quiet and interaction with nature. Stargazing and listening to the sounds of countless wildlife while appreciating the subtleties of all the natural world has to offer is what this spot will provide. The marked and groomed hiking trails and the calmness of the lake for canoe and kayak rides are also a great feature. Would recommend this spot to anyone looking for peace and quiet away from the city, while the lake is not the best for swimming everything else this cabin provides in lieu makes up for that ten fold. Hosts are also super responsive and accommodating. 10/10

If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway, this cabin offers so much. Lots of wildlife and tranquility with a well-equiped accomodation that has gorgeous views of the lake and sunsets. We also appreciated the location, which allowed us easy access to Riding Mountain or Neepawa if we needed anything.

We had a wonderful weekend at this cozy little cottage. It was impeccably clean and very well laid out. The area was secluded and quiet, which was exactly what you're looking for. We enjoyed the views of the lake in the early evening in the screen room and utilized the canoe and kayaks provided. The owners were very helpful, prompt in communicating, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best it could be. We'll definitely be back. If you're looking for me quiet spot away from the busy of the city this is the perfect little Haven tucked away on 80 acres.
