- Swimming - The Beach and Swimming area is a sandy bottom up to about waist height before you start to find any weeds, the lake water is clear (not murky or swampy) great area for kids to swim and play in water, sit your chair in on a sunny day or float around but it does get weedy the further out you go.
- Outdoor Games - Washer Toss, Ladder Ball
- Lots of Dock space if you have a boat, sea-doo (Boat Launch is 2 min down the main road at Bass Lake Rd).
Make sure to take a quick drive or boat ride into town while you visit! Bobcaygeon is nestled between two of the most scenic Kawartha lakes, Sturgeon and Pigeon. Explore the unique shops, friendly pubs and restaurants, swim at the sandy public beach, or pass an idle hour sitting by the locks watching the Boats go by. Make sure to stop by the Kawartha dairy for nothing but the best ice cream or a milkshake! Grocery, Convenience, LCBO, Beer Store, Tim Hortons, Pizza, Fish & Chips, Chinese, Subway, Fuel, Boat Rental only a 5 min drive from the cottage!
We are not far from Buckhorn (recommend eating at the Cody Inn for delicious Chinese food) or Kinmount which has a small movie theater if you get stuck with some bad weather!
