This is the perfect summer place: The warmth and character of a traditional cottage, brought to life by the creativity and style of a designer. Perchance is an A-frame cottage on a gorgeous, quiet, mid-sized lake. There are two bedrooms with double beds in the main building, plus a bunkie with a double bed and two twins in the loft, and then a boathouse at the waterfront with pullout couch. The 20X20 deck has a table for al fresco dinners, and huge, new dock on the water is perfect for sunrise yoga, or 5pm cocktails. It comes equipped with all the things: BBQ, coffee-bean grinder, two kayaks, canoe, paddleboard, WIFI that is good enough for Zoom, but not so good that you needn't have left the city. The DVD library is a potpourri from the 90s/ 00s and the key board games and bestselling books are at the ready.
We have rented the place to friends and family for 25 years and have extra time available this season. We have set it up as "arrive clean, leave clean" to keep the cost lower and time on the dock higher. We also rent out for 7 day windows, not 2 or 3 nights. The weeks run from Sat to Sat. Apologies to the puppies, but it is a no pets cottage.
