The cabin is well kept and I had a relaxing time enjoying the country air. It's spacious and felt like a home away from home. The owner Tanis, is friendly and available if you need anything during your stay. The price is very reasonable for the 1 hour drive from Winnipeg. I really enjoyed my walks into town and the peace and quiet at the cabin with sounds of nature.

The walk to town and The Viking Statue is close. So is all the other stuff you can do whether it's going to the beach or checking out the local shops and restaurants.

I would absolutely return again in the future for a weekend getaway!!! Thanks Tanis!

This was not our first stay and likely will not be our last. Tanis is always accommodating, willing to meet any requests and is generous in spirit.

The cabin is clean, cheery and has an excellent wifi connection. The kitchen is well stocked, all sorts of little extras (linens, soap and towels) are provided and she is flexible with the check in and check out times. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Excellent experience! It was the perfect escape from the city. The cottage had everything we needed from linens to wifi, which made working from ?home? very easy. The location is great and in a quiet neighbourhood. Tanis was very responsive to any questions that we had. We will definitely be coming back for our next staycation!!

We decided to book a last minute Christmas getaway at this cottage and were very pleased with the decision.

Tanis was very communicative and responsive and left a lovely little welcome package for us when we arrived. The cottage was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the rooms were well stocked with extra blankets and pillows.

All of the little extras that were provided (linens, cleaning supplies, toilet paper and paper towels) were very much appreciated, as was the use of the garage. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider coming out again.

My son and I had such a great stay here! First, communication with the host was east and straightforward. Check in was as agreed. The host had left a very welcoming card, toys for my son, and some baking kits, which honestly was so helpful as we came in from abroad and we were too tired to leave the house the first day. The cottage was super clean and well equipped. The location is great - we walked to the little access point to the beach almost every day to take advantage of the vantage point for the beautiful winter sunrises. The cottage is well equipped and has everything you need for self-catering. There are "real" beds so we slept well, and it is really very quiet. We were there in the dead of winter but there is a proper heating system so we were nice and cozy. The cottage is rustic enough for you to feel that you are in a cottage, but not so rustic that you wished you stayed in a hotel:-) Highly recommended, I know we will be back.
