| We were really pleased with the accommodation at the Lakehouse in Huntsville. Our host Laura greeted us with a pecan pie and answered all questions that we had regarding our stay. We enjoyed this beautiful home with our family and the view is outstanding. We would recommend renting this cottage/house to anyone that would like to work away from the office and enjoys the outdoors.

| Christmas getaway. Our family of 5 adults stayed for a few days over Christmas at this stunning lakehouse. From the moment we booked, our hostess Laura was such a pleasure to deal with. We were greeted on arrival with baked goods, wine and chocolate to make us feel welcome. All of the rooms were comfortable with high quality bedding, towels, and amazing attention to detail. Beautiful furnishings and gorgeous kitchen. The view from the greatroom and basement family room is spectacular. Wood fireplace kept us warm and cozy during our stay. Every single need was met. Did I mention the sauna? Laura also made sure there was a beautiful Christmas tree for us. Everything was perfect. Would definitely stay here again. Hopefully in summer next time to enjoy the lake in warmer temperatures.Thank you Laura for making our stay feel like home. 5+ stars.

| This cottage is everything advertised and more. From the very beginning Laura was so easy to work with and communicate with while planning our trip. The cottage is absolutely stunning, every window, every view, just takes your breathe away. The gardens and grounds are meticulously landscaped, so many different places to sit and take in the view I am not sure i managed to sit at all of them. All the water toys were brand new and easy to use even for inexperienced cottagers. The lake was so quiet and absolutely beautiful with no boats aloud, it is no surprise that this place has rejuvenation in the heading. The Muskoka room might be my favorite space in the cottage with no bugs and a view of the lake, very peaceful. I have lived at the Four Seasons in Toronto for many years, and the linens and beds in this cottage definitely give them a run for the money. Could not say enough good things about this place, there is absolutely a kind of sacred vibe and sense of serenity that I have not felt at a cottage. Will definitely be booking again!!

| My family and I had a wonderful week at the Lakehouse at the end of August. The property is really well appointed, with beautiful gardens, and amazing views over Walker Lake, particularly from the sunroom which was perfect for a morning coffee or long dinner. We spent every afternoon down on the dock swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. Walker lake was perfect for paddle boarding with almost no boat traffic it was amazingly peaceful. The house itself had everything and we loved using the sauna and then heading down the stairs to cool off in the lake! Also want to point out how accommodating the owner Laura was as she walked us through everything the house had to offer and was always available for questions and suggestions on where to explore nearby. It was a great week in a great location. Thanks Laura!
