| Darlene provides a great cottage getaway on a quiet part of Steenburg Lake. The cottage is excellent for hosting a group or family with the cottage and bunkie. Fishing is great right from the dock, we caught several big largemouth bass as well as some sunfish, perch, and rock bass. The cottage is nestled between lots of trees for great coverage and the watercraft and water toys make for some fun on the water. Recommended to stay!

| This cottage was just what we needed, time to relax and enjoy the outdoors while enjoying the fall colours. Dar was an excellent host being a text away if you had questions or concerns (not that there was any). The cottage is very clean as the pictures present and having a wood fireplace was the icing on the cake...
We would rent Dar's cottage again no hesitations.

| What a beautiful spot to vacation at! Peaceful and serene lake with all the amenities needed. The cottage is beautiful and functional!!
We kayaked and paddle boarded. Perfect lake for doing this. There is a netted gazebo if the bugs are bothering you, and a spacious dock to sit on. Kitchen is well equipped and beds are comfortable. I highly recommend this cottage. Dar is an amazing owner and host!!

| Very clean, comfortable and well-equipped with appliances and basic cooking supplies (oil, spices, etc.). The lake is clean, not weedy, and perfect for swimming. We spent hours using the kayaks to explore the lake, which is much bigger than it first appears. We also enjoyed hiking the trails at a nearby conservation area with our dog. Dar is a very gracious host, and was readily available by phone to answer any questions we had. We hope to return again to this beautiful, serene spot.
