Locklyn's Hideaway is located on beautiful Charleston Lake. Famous for its crystal clear water, and abundants of fishing. The lake has over 100 miles of shoreline with over 200 islands this large deep clean lake is the perfect place to spend a much needed holiday. Our hideaway is south east facing providing the most spectacular sunrises, with afternoon shade for hot summer days. Excellent swimming from the dock as well as a small patch of gentle slopping shoreline perfect for your littles for wading in! Water shoes are recommended as the lake does have zebra mussels.
Locklyn's Hideaway is located in Webster's Bay, close to the village of Charleston where there are 2 marina's, 2 boat launches, boat rentals and a lovely little general store where you can purchase locally handcrafted souvenirs.
This 3 bedroom, 1 bath 4 season 2nd generation cottage just undertook an extensive renovation with comfort in mind. The new luxury hotel mattresses in each of the bedrooms are sure to wrap you in comfort while you fade off to sleep while listening to the loons call in the night. A well stocked kitchen will make your vacation more enjoyable. A Water cooler is available for those who wish to bring your own water jug. For added comfort, the cottage is equipped with air conditioning as well each room has a floor fan. The hideaway includes a BBQ, concrete dock, fire pit & more!

Charleston Lake is located in South Eastern Ontario. The lake is carved out of the Frontenac Axis, a relatively narrow extension of the Canadian Shield bedrock which dominates the landscape of Northern Ontario. The lake is the principal watershed for the Gananoque River, and boasts prime fishing locations. Charleston Lake Provincial Park is located on the shores of the lake, and offers camping, hiking, boating, fishing leaving a lot of the shoreline untouched.
Charleston Lake has over 800 summer and permanent residences on the lake. The water surface is 26.2 km2. A naturally occurring rock and tree formation shows a profile of the guardian of Charleston Lake known as Indian Head.
