Welcome to Muskoka's Echo Hideaway. It was love at first sight with this gem of a property. I'm thrilled to be able to share it with other families looking to escape on vacation this Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter, as well as those looking to work from the cottage. The wifi is solid and great for zoom meetings! The cottage is 4-season and winterized. Accessibility is great in this bungalow + no stairs to the waterfront, beach and shallow entry = perfect for young kids and seniors!

- 2 hour drive from Toronto, in Baysville on a tranquil part of Echo Lake between Bracebridge, Huntsville and Dorset. Great privacy!

| I just spent a week at Echo Hideaway and loved it! From the very beginning my host Michelle was extremely helpful, responsive and easy to reach leading up to my stay with the many questions I had. Arriving there, it was exactly the piece of heaven in the pictures. The cottage is very well stocked with all kitchen supplies you would want, multiple cooking utensils, even a blender!
The beds were super comfortable and everything was very clean and cozy in decor. The couches and chairs in the living area also very comfortable, and extra seating. Something I have always found lacking in rentals, not enough couch space and usually quite uncomfortable.
The deck and outdoor space is just outstanding. As long as the weather agrees, you will never need to go inside with a fully covered sectional on the deck (great for napping!), great lounge chairs by the water, and Muskoka chairs around the fire. Add in all of the amazing water toys plus a hot tub and your stay is complete. Amazing lake to canoe/kayak, and super quiet.
I had a great experience from beginning to end and will definitely go back!

| Did I love my stay at Echo Hideaway! I was looking for a last minute weekday getaway in the winter wonderland of Muskoka after the latest snowfall, and stumbled upon this charming cottage in Baysville.
Admittedly, I enjoyed the hot tub during the snowfall the most, but it's the picture perfect lake view that really melted my heart. The TV worked perfectly and provided a host of streaming options. The bedrooms were super cozy - they even provided linens and towels - and the place was super clean and comfy. Its also pet friendly which I love, because I never travel without my little furry friend.
The nicest touch was the welcome letter and bottle of wine (& chocolates), which added to my wonderful first night. They also provided firewood and I had an amazing fire going next to the backdrop of the glistening frozen lake. I would recommend this amazing cabin to anyone wanting a relaxing cottage escape in and around Muskoka.

| We absolutely loved our stay at Michelle's cottage! It was even better than what we had hoped for. It's a cozy, comfortable place to stay, located on a wonderful lake. There's everything you need for outdoor recreation - between the canoe and the 4 kayaks, we were on the water every day. The lake is fairly shallow and you can walk out for ages. We found it very quiet - we rarely even saw a motorboat on the lake, and the neighbours were quiet too. The fire pit was awesome for making s'mores and roasting hotdogs!
The cottage itself is wonderful too. The kitchen is well-stocked and the living room is comfortable. A couple of days were cooler and we loved the cozy blankets stored in the living room baskets. And the porch overlooking the lake was ideal for card games and reading.
We had a perfect week. If I rent a cottage another summer, I'll book this one without hesitation!

| My family and I had an amazing week at echo hideaway. We enjoyed many bonfires and s'mores the provided wood was an added bonus! We also enjoyed using all they water toys that Michelle provided! The covered deck is what we enjoyed most we spent a lot of time on the amazing deck!! My family and I will definitely be returning :)
