Amazing Prince Edward County waterfront location 2 minutes from Sandbanks Provincial Park by car or 20 minutes walk. 15 minutes from Picton and 10 minutes from Bloomfield. Central to beaches, breweries, wineries, shopping, nature trails, cycling routes, farmers markets, art galleries and watersport rentals. This family owned cottage is on The Outlet River, which you can swim in, boating, kayaking, etc. with access to East Lake at one end and Lake Ontario at the other end. Gorgeous spot for quiet morning coffees on the dock looking down the river. Enjoy a glass of wine or beer around the campfire at night. Large lawn suited to bocce ball, corn hole or frisby. Large shaded deck facing the river with picnic table and round corner table with 4 chairs. Firepit with chairs & BBQ Boat Ramp suitable for canoes, paddle boards and kayaks. New floating dock perfect for fishing and relaxing in the sun. For the overcast days we have a TV and DVD player with an assortment of dvds. An assortment of books, boardgames and jigsaw puzzles - no wifi or cable. Prince Edward County is known for fantastic cycling routes, all connect near the cottage. The Outlet Road is a quiet street perfect for a morning or evening stroll. If you're a runner, head over into the Provincial Park and run through the campgrounds or along the beach. Book a private winery tour and have them pick you up at the cottage and drive you to some beautiful wineries for the day. When you get back sit on the deck and enjoy the treats you picked up along the way.
The cottages in our area are on their own wells, so you need to bring your own drinking water. You also need to supply your own wood for the camp fire.
