Welcome to westward facing family owned Spirt Rock Cottage in the Haliburton/ Algonquin Highlands. Nestled amongst the towering old growth Pine and Spruce of Pincomb Bay on the lake commonly referred to as the jewel of Haliburton, Redstone Lake. Redstone Lake is a 3 lake chain and offers crystal clear waters and is considerind to be one of if not the top lake in the Haliburton/Algonquin Highlands area.
Enjoy a refreshing plunge off the new oversized floating dock into the deep, clean, weed free waters. Or if you prefer a more gradual shallow entry the 250ft of flatrock granite shoreline provides various entry points for you to make your way into this large pristine lake. When it's time to take a break from swimming and exploring the shoreline in either the pedal boat or canoe relax in one of the many Haliburton chairs or hammock with a cold drink and soak up the all day sun on the dock or any of the shaded lower level decks. You will also find 1 of 2 outdoor firepits by the water for evening campfires along with 1 of 2 gas grills for waterfront grilling.
As you make your way up from the picturous waterfront to the cottage you can choose your route by either winding through the majestic old growth Pine & Spruce by way of a natural stone and step path or the newly constructed 60 step wooden staircase. Be sure to take in the majestic lake views and scenery of the mixed soft & hardwood trees as you make your way through the landscape as this is one of the highlights of the property.
As you enter the 3 level Cottage/Lake House from the main entrance you will be welcomed and will find the large oversized main foyer with ample closet space and room for bringing in groceries, luggage etc. As you glance to your right you will likely be meet with rays of sunlight from the double doors that lead you into the enclosed Haliburton room. This lake facing room offers double screened doors leading to the outside wrap around deck and is an ideal place to relax with a good book or an evening board game with family and friends and take in the lake breeze.
As you make your way through the foyer of the main entrance you will find the main floor bath with stand up shower and 2 of the 5 bedrooms both equiped with queen beds, ceiling fans and oversized windows offering breathtaking views. As you make your way into the main floor living room you will be meet by the stunning floor to ceiling locally mined solid granite fireplace, wall mounted TV with satellite, Netflix, ceiling fan, wall of windows and walkout to the deck with a Weber gas grill. Just to the left of the granite fireplace is the main dining room. Surrounded with windows and seating for 8-12 you will feel as if you are sitting within the surrounding trees and landscape. Just off of the dining room is the fully equipped galley kitchen with all new SS appliances and a newly added air fryer.
As you make your way up the staircase you will notice some of the stunning original pieces from one time Haliburton artist Robert Bateman. Once on the upper level and to your left is the #3 of 5 bedrooms "The Loft". This room offers hardwood forest views with ample windows, queen bed, closet and over looks the main level family room. Further down the hall is the #4 of 5 rooms rightfully referred to simply as "The Lake Room". Although all the lake views from the property and cottage are breathtaking the views from this room are absolutely stunning. The floor to ceiling window in this room and the height of which it sits offers some of the best views from anywhere on the lake. If you enjoy stargazing this is the spot for you. Besides the view this room offers rustic pine bunks with a twin bottom, single top, separate sinlge, compact TV with Xbox and DVD, ceiling fan, large oversized pine dresser with ample storage space. Further down the hall is the main fully equipped bath with shower and claw soaker tub as well as the master suite. The master offers a king bed, lots of windows with piano style lake facing windows, satellite TV, Netflix his and her closets and oversized ceiling fan.
Lastly when you make your way to the lower level walkout you will instantly feel the warmth and coziness of it's rustic charm. In the lower level you will find SS beverage and wine refrigerators, 2nd full size refirgerator a 3rd satellite TV, Netflix, 2nd Xbox, 2nd DVD, wood burning stove, dartboard, oversized sectional couch as well as full laundry facilities.
Outside of the cottage is a 2nd outdoor 36" metal firepit, x2 ajoining outdoor tables with bench seating for 10, Weber gas grill, ample parking and a built in Generac Generator just in case. Power outages are not uncommon anywhere in cottage country throughout the year and trust us nothing will spoil a vacation (and steaks) faster than being without hydro and water. If there is a power outage that lasts more than 60 seconds the generator will engage and besides the sound of a gentle hum from the rear of the cottage you will not even know the power is out. Everything including appliances, both gas and electric, water system, lights, TV's will operate flawlessly. Once hydro is restored the generator will simply shut itself off and remain on standby.

| My family and friends stayed here together and had a fantastic time! The host was so helpful and had everything we needed for a great stay. We really enjoyed the multiple living spaces for adults and kids to spread out and the many outdoor sitting places to take in the perfect view of a beautiful lake. Our whole group are all Hip fans and the artwork and Hip CD's were exactly what a true Canadian cottage needs! Beds were all comfortable, bathrooms clean and well stocked, the kitchen has everything you could need to prepare and serve all meals and drinks, lots of extra activities provided to enjoy the space (from board games to outdoor fun) The stairs from the dock to the cottage are a workout that makes you feel like you have earned a beer! Overall I cant say enough about this cottage and the owners, perfect experience from beginning to end!!

| A Top Notch Cottage! This was our first time renting a cottage outside of our family network. We were a little nervous. Our experience working with Marino (Owner) of Spirit Rock Cottage was very smooth. The cottage, amenities, and landscape are incredible. A beautifully decorated and updated cottage with a top notch view. Spirit Rock accommodated our family of 10 quite easily - there was something for everyone: games, floaties, Xbox for kids, darts, peddle boat, canoe and more. From morning breakfasts and coffees on the large surround deck, afternoons on the large oversized dock and evenings spent around one of two bonfire pits. Every area of their property was well thought out and utilized with multiple decks to view the water. There is a perfect flat area of grass in front of the cottage which was ideal for our games of volleyball, badminton and spike ball (we brought a net). Our hosts, Marino and Stephanie greeted us with a lovely bottle of wine and were available for any questions we had. I can't thank them enough for providing us the opportunity to create memories with our family this summer. We hope to return next year!

| Great cottage, beautiful lake and amazing hosts. Bottle of wine left for us was a nice touch and very much appreciated. The stairs can be a challenge but who doesn't like a little exercise once or twice a year! Lol Would love to see the addition of a kayak and or paddle board. Brought my own and had several great paddles, the lake being calm during most of our stay.

Owner response: It was our pleaseure having your family and you up for a week and I hope you left a few fish in the lake for me lol. Kayaks are on the list for next summer to go along with the current canoe and pedal boat. Enjoy the rest of your summer and we hope to have you all back next year. Marino & Stephanie Peric. | |

| Our family enjoyed an amazing week at Spirit Rock at the beginning of summer! Absolutely love the accommodations and with 10 of us, including a baby, two pre-teens, and a dog...there was enough room for all of us to enjoy the amenities of the cottage. We enjoyed meals around the dining table and on the deck, and 'picnics' at the lake. Campfires were a big hit too! The water was amazing and fishing was a treat for our grandson. The owner was quick to respond to all questions and helpful as we planned our Christmas gift to our children and grandchildren - the gift of Time! We would highly recommend this cottage to any and all!!

| We stayed at this cottage for two weeks and throughly enjoyed every minute. We were blessed with good weather, but regardless it still would have been perfect. The pictures are very accurate. We enjoyed the upper level fire pit with what felt like the never ending supply of wood! We never tried the lower firepit but we did venture out to the dock to see the stars at night. Stunning! The water is clear and calm. A perfect place for swimmers regardless of abilities. We loved floating on the lake and using the canoe and paddle boat. The kitchen is small but very well equipped. Lots of spices and pantry staples. There are two full size fridges plus a wine fridge and ice maker. A wrap around deck that provided beautiful views of the lake. Bedrooms are big and beds are very comfortable. Most rooms have ceiling fans and all the windows open. Beware, there are LOTS of stairs to get down to the water. 68 to be exact. But that did not stop us from enjoying the lower level or two different decks everyday. Our medium size dog loved being at the cottage too.
