| Emily and Alex provided our family with a top rate vacation thanks to their wonderful cottage. It was not just beautiful inside and out, but the fact that it was so well equipped made it completely easy to move in and enjoy, right away. From the kitchen to the lake equipment, not a thing has been missed. The decor is so warm and inviting. Our family members (even tho we do like each other) did enjoy being able to each find a spot to ourselves to read, get on our devices, and of course relax. The beds, couches, kitchen set, etc. are all in pristine condition and comfortable. It's view of the lake is spectacular. Being in the bay was great for swimming and for reduced/quieter boat traffic. Being near the town of Port Carling and other sweet towns was a bonus! Emily and Alex were always accessible and beyond lovely. My family was grateful to find this gem. I keep saying "it was like a gift" and we for sure hope to get back there at some point.

| We stayed at this beautiful cottage for one week following Christmas with our two young children. Alex and Emily were fabulous hosts and we had an amazing time! The cottage was clean, spacious, welcoming, and well-appointed with everything we needed (which made packing easy!).
The property is very well maintained and there is a lot to do in the area. We really enjoyed using the outdoor fire pit, visiting the local playground, and going for hikes. There were so many fun activities within about a 10 minute drive and enough to do on the property itself even in the winter.
Alex was very responsive, clear, and helpful from start to finish. He was super patient with us as we navigated the booking process since this was our first time renting a cottage through this website. He answered questions quickly by email and phone and he was always courteous and friendly.
We are already looking at our calendars to find another week to visit this cottage. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful Muskoka holiday!

| We had so much fun during our stay. It was our first time in Muskoka and the view from the cottage is just breathtaking. The weather was amazing and we couldn't get enough of the fall colors. I was worried about what my 3 kids would do during this time but they had a blast! They were able to go fishing from the dock and use the kayaks as well. The cottage was super clean, the beds and the duvets were really really comfortable. Everything was just perfect. There are more than enough towels and beach towel to use and the kitchen has everything you need for daily cooking. Everything you need like shampoos, conditioner, soaps, dish soaps, trash bags and water were supplied. The owners answer your questions right away, they are very easy to reach and we are very thankful for making our stay so pleasant. Can't wait to visit again during summer next time!

| We just spent a wonderful 3 weeks at Alex and Emily's cottage. The cottage was spotless upon arrival and is situated with what we thought was the best view on the lake. The cottage was spacious, clean and everything was provided from full kitchen supplies to towels, beach towels, linens and so on. There was even the perk of the house being cleaned once a week while we were there. The dock is beautiful and we spent a lot of time reading and napping out there, plus a great place for a morning workout with visits from the blue heron and ducks that live right there. The enclosed area is ideal for evening hanging out and playing games. The house is located a short drive from Port Carling - our favorite places in town were Field of Greens market and York and Mason sandwiches. And about 20 mins from Bracebridge where we played mini golf and even did some back to school supply shopping at the staples. The beds are comfy, full smart TVs with all streaming services and house came with kayaks, canoe, paddle board and an additional little dock out about 100ft. Alex provided a great info pack before arrival. We used many of his great suggestions including dinner at Crossroads (highly recommend too!) and the hike at huckleberry lookout. Highly recommend this cottage and sad our 3 weeks on Lake Rosseau are over.

| Beautiful property and perfect for a getaway. The towels, linens, furniture and appliances are all top notch quality and the beds very comfortable. Everything was clean and the cottage was bright and airy. Our hosts Emily and Alex provided excellent instructions and recommendations in advance so we found everything easily as well as easy to use. They also included a special welcome package which we found very thoughtful. The cottage came equipped with a canoe, two kayaks, life jackets, a stand up paddle board and a pedal boat. Our family used all of them except the pedal boat and enjoyed exploring the relatively sheltered long bay cove. We saw ducks, frogs, a turtle and a heron. Port Carling was a ten minute drive and we shopped at a grocery recommended by our hosts (?Field of Greens?). We also enjoyed visiting the Farmers market in the town of Rousseau (Friday's) as well as JW Marriott property not too far from the town. There are two docks that come with the property. One is perfect for morning coffee, lounging or looking at stars at night and the other is a little further out in deeper water so it is good for swimming. Our week was very rainy but we were still able to enjoy the cottage's amenities including making great use on the screened-in porch. We were four adults and 3 kids (17, 15 and 10) and our teens actually put down their electronics and became ?free range? kids for a while. Very enjoyable stay.
