Absolute paradise, the first thing you will notice is the privacy, the beautiful lot has everything and the room to do it. A large fire pit, charcoal pit and simply one of the best hammocks to catch that afternoon nap. The lot is large and private enough to let those well behaved furry friends have fun! Inside the cottage you find a well equipped kitchen. The hosts have provided everything you could possibly need. Great table in the dining area for game night! The kids loved it. The living room has large windows and dual patio doors with a beautiful loft with queen and single overlooking. The main floor bedroom with the king bed had a nice breeze in the evenings with two large windows. We spent everyday on the water, the hosts provide it all from kayaks, floaties, canoe and all the safety gear. The lake is great to paddle on in early mornings. The dock has a nice ladder and the water is crystal clear. Scott was very helpful explaining everything in and around the cottage. The off-grid system and internet worked flawlessly. We are looking forward to making this an annual trip. Thanks so much for sharing.

Thank you for this great testimonial, James. It is a place our family enjoys too, so we have equipped it as if it is a second home, not just a rental. We are pleased to share it with others for the few weeks in the season when we do not use it, as we want every week of the summer season to be enjoyed there--it is a very special place, and we are so happy you had such a good time there! Thank you for taking the time to write this.

This cottage has a very pretty lakefront, a nice size dock area and is in lovely very private surroundings. The lake is quite peaceful with no large motorized boats. Great for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, fishing or just sitting and observing the loons and other wildlife. The cottage looked well built, well maintained and very clean, as did the bunkie. Everything was in good working order. It is well equipped with almost any amenities you could want, in the kitchen, at the dock, and in the rest of the cottage, considering of course it is off the grid. Room sizes were good, very airy and bright with lots of windows. Furniture was in great shape and very comfortable. Good size deck with a excellent quality bbq, and nice patio furniture to relax on or to have dinner outside with a lake view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, were so pleased with everything, and really hope to return!

That was a great description, Diana, and we are so pleased you had such a good stay. Thank you for taking the time to write this review.

Our family had a wonderful time at this cottage. It checked all the boxes - quiet, peaceful location - great fishing right off the dock - the lake was clear and warm for swimming - the lake was so quiet with no motorboat traffic - abundance of animal sightings - wonderful lake for canoeing and kayaking - flat lawn space for recreational games - comfortable, well-stocked cottage - wonderfully accommodating hosts. We had a great time and would definitely go back in the future.

Thank you for your comments, Lisa. We are really happy that it checked all your boxes for your family as we know you came quite a distance to enjoy this wonderful tranquil place in the Canadian Shield. Sharing this space with others brings us a lot of joy.

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful, quiet and private cottage. Spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything you need. Huge property that is peaceful, serene and wonderfully maintained with so much room for outdoor games. Large deck to sit and relax and look out at the water. The lake is so clean, clear and deep. we enjoyed kayaking and just sitting on the dock listening to the loons.
Wonderful welcoming owners that go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay.
We finally found a cottage we want to return too.
Thank you Scott and Jackie!!!

We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay so much, and thank you for your review. It is indeed a special place where folks can restore and regroup, and we are happy to make it available to others to enjoy it as much as we do. We are looking forward to welcoming you and your family again!

We thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful week stay at this lovely cottage. Being off grid was a great experience and there wasn't a need for additional power. The many swims off the dock were refreshing and the boat rides relaxing.
The cottage is very clean and quite comfortable. We especially enjoyed the beautiful view down to the lake from inside the cottage and the deck.
We most definitely would like to go back.
