Enjoy lakeside living on a level, family-friendly lot with a patio and fire pit just steps from the water. Guests can make the most of the lake with a canoe, two kayaks, a pedal boat, life jackets in a variety of sizes, fun blow-up toys, and a relaxing swing lounge.
The sandy-bottom, crystal-clear lake offers excellent swimming, with two shallow entry points via stair access on either side of the dock ramp—perfect for young children and adults—while deeper water lies just beyond the dock. Many guests have even caught great-sized fish right off the dock.
Eel's Lake (no eels—named after Chief Eel!) is part of the Trent–Severn Waterway and is known for its clean, fresh water. Water levels remain deep at the end of the dock until about mid-August, when they gradually lower to reveal a beautiful sandy beach along the shoreline, ideal for little ones to play.
The cottage features two bedrooms plus a bunkie, offering comfortable space for families and groups. A screened-in porch with a dining set is perfect for meals in the fresh air, card games, or board games while enjoying peaceful lake views. An open deck with a large umbrella provides a relaxing spot to watch the kids play, gather around the fire pit, or take in the waves and stunning sunsets.
The kitchen is well equipped and there is a washer and dryer available for use. Towels and bedding are provided.
