| We spent four nights at Whippoorwill cottage with our two dogs. The cottage is a fully equipped and beautifully furnished house. The living area is comfortable and spacious, and the bedrooms are also a good size. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, dishes, gadgets, and even a full spice rack. The road is quiet because it's a dead end street, and there are no houses behind the cottage (and the property on one side is undeveloped and currently for sale).
The nearest entrance to the Bruce Trail is just around the corner from the end of the street. Although there is technically access to the waterfront, this is basically just enough space to go look at the bay. The shoreline is littered with "no trespassing" signs, so a walk along the shore is not an option. This was disappointing since the beach in Lion's Head does not allow dogs, even on leash.
Apart from the waterfront access, we were very happy with our stay.

| This is a really wonderful cottage in a beautiful location. I had the great joy of staying here for almost three months during winter and it was a very unique experience. Nature in all its wonderful forms and shapes is everywhere with easy access to all that the Bruce Peninsula has to offer particularly in winter. The cottage is very well equipped, nicely laid out and a pleasure to stay in. Brad was a superb host - very responsive on the very few occasions I had to ask for something and very concerned about my stay being a good one. Which it was. Highly recommended and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Brad!
