| Our stay was simply AMAZING. The cottage and the property exceeded our expectations in every way. The bedrooms are cosy, with comfortable beds, there is a well-equipped kitchen, a dining room table large enough for family dinners (and board games), and lots of comfy seating in the living room and the deck to relax.
The views from the dock ? and the dock itself ? are beautiful at any time of day. The lakeshore in this area has a sandy bottom and is ideal for swimming or wading out. We spent several happy hours with local wine on the dock!
The whole area is heavily treed and quiet. The owners, who are in the area, are really lovely. We really didn't want to leave this piece of paradise ? a consoling thought was our plan to return. If you're looking for a larger, well-appointed cottage on the water, THIS IS IT.
