This four season, smoke-free family cottage is just a block and a half from Port Elgin's beautiful sandy beach on Lake Huron. Strolling distance to downtown, shopping, restaurants, beaches, events and other attractions. There are two bedrooms- One queen and one with a double-single bunk bed. The place sleeps five people comfortably (One large family) with a four piece bathroom. Our little hidden gem was just renovated top to bottom and has an open concept living room/ kitchen with a rustic modern decor feel. A large new wrap around deck has just been added with Muskoka chairs for those lazy days . The property is sunk into the hill and under a beautiful canopy of large mature trees, we have a spacious yard with just enough of an opening to have a great spot for family camp fires. This property tends to stay cooler than most properties so don't let the sun trick you.
What we have included...
* Unlimited internet, smart tv (with ROKU and Netflix)
* It has everything you need in the kitchen. A beautiful island peninsula that seats two people, can be used for prep work or just for serving your family.
* Additional appliances that are provided: Microwave, crock pot, blender, Keurig coffee maker (pods are not provided), infrared BBQ, fridge and natural gas stove.
* There will be some toilet paper, hand soap, garbage bags, paper towels, dish soap and garbage tags.
You will need to bring:
*sheets, blankets and pillows
*all towels, dish clothes/tea towels
*personal soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc...

NOTES The rental week runs from Saturday check-in at 12 PM to the next Saturday check-out at 9:30 PM. A $300 refundable security deposit is required to book a rental period. This is refunded either after your stay (no damage to the premises) or if you have to cancel 60 days prior to your stay. After that no refunds can be provided. | My husband I just got back from a week at this beautiful cottage. The location is perfect for walking to the beach which we did several times. The sunsets are unbelievable!
The neighborhood is very quiet and the cottage is very private. The kitchen is fully stocked. Just bring your food and you are all set! It was nice at night to put the fireplace on and sit and watch a movie. It was our first trip to Port Elgin and we are so glad we found this gem. Thank you so much Ed and Corinna for the wonderful week.

| We are at this cottage right now and leave in 2 days! We could easily stay here for another week or more! This cottage is absolute perfect! Updated, amazing kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you will need and then some! Bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds. Living area is large and open with a large dining table. The deck is awesome! So big and shady, we sit out here most nights and have eaten meals out here too. The beach is so close and we walk down to the sunsets every night too. We've been coming to Port Elgin for 17 years and this is by far the best cottage we've ever rented! Can't wait to come back! Thanks so much for sharing your lovely cottage!

| As soon as we unlocked the door and stepped in, we both felt we were home! What a lovely cottage! The kitchen is new, spacious and very up to date! I know the ad states it's a fully stocked kitchen, but I was shocked that there was EVERYTHING one would need in that kitchen!! We put our groceries away, made up the beds and were down to the beach in a matter of an hour! There is so much storage in the entire cottage - kitchen, livingroom, bedrooms and even the bathroom. What I loved about all that space to put things away, was that the storage areas are tastefully placed and is actually part of the decor! Great shaded and private yard - We loved having our coffee on the deck every morning - such beautiful patio furniture! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - thank you for everything!!! Oh and the Netflix....thank you for Netflix!!!!!! ha ha ha

| Fantastic cottage! We have been coming to Port Elgin for years and this is our favourite. So modern and clean and has everything you need. The deck is beautiful. We had a fire every night in the large yard. So close to the beach we walked down almost everyday and night for the Port Elgin sunsets. I was hesitant to write a review because I fear that this place will be harder to book next year but I will take my chances.

| Our family stayed at the cottage for a week and it was amazing, we wish we could have stayed longer. It was so clean and was equipped with everything you might need. Loved the huge wrap around deck which we spent most evenings on. The beach was so close and we went there each day and usually a walk down each night to enjoy the sunset.
The cottage has a lot of privacy as it is surrounded by many trees so we were able to find shade when needed. Has a nice sized yard that my daughter and I were able to play badminton on.
Overall I would highly recommend the cottage-it is walking distance to the main street in Port Elgin, close to South Hampton and Sauble beach as well.
