| We can't say enough good things about Cedar Shores Lakehouse. This was undoubtedly one of the nicest cottages we have ever stayed at! From the views, to the amenities, to the cottage layout and toys for the kids, it had everything we needed to have a relaxing weekend away. The grounds were perfect for our 1 and 3 year old, along with our dogs to run around safely. Kristen was great, very responsive and lovely to deal with. We will definitely be back :).

| Our family just enjoyed one of our best family vacations at the Cedar Shores Lakehouse! This beautiful home with outstanding views of the lake had everything we needed and more for a mini pre- Christmas getaway. Located half way between our home in Brantford and our daughters homes in Ottawa - we were able to bring our entire family together which can be challenging for us to do! All the cottage amenities allowed us to enjoy each other's company under the same roof with exceptionally comfortable sleeping arrangements for all! We baked cookies, decorated Christmas ornaments and had a gingerbread house building contest. The kitchen had everything we needed and more for 5 adults and 5 children! The fully finished basement level with games room space for the kids and every toy imaginable for various ages was brilliant for allowing the adults to relax and reminisce about old times upstairs. This home was such a treat for us to enjoy during November - our hike through the conservation area - which was a few minutes walk from the Lakehouse was beautiful! I can only imagine how much more it has to offer in the summer months when the kids could enjoy all that the lake has to offer! Our host Kristen was wonderful to communicate with and seemed as fully invested as I was in making this weekend a memorable one for our children and grandchildren! Our only issue was little ones crying that they didn't want to leave! Thanks for the priceless family memories!

| Amazing cottage for a family getaway. Our group of 8 adults and 3 children really loved your well maintained cottage. Cottage is very nicely furnished and decorated. Having baby monitor was a huge plus for us, so were all the toys. Even though our stay was roughened by a storm and there was a power outage in the area but cottage is equipped with a very efficient generator that helped to continue our stay comfortably. Thank you Kristen for being prompt in responsing to every question.

Owner response: Thank you so much for the lovely review. That storm was exceptional and knocked out power in the area for almost an entire week! We hope to see your family back another time and wish for better circumstances. | |

| Our group of 2 toddlers, 2 kids, and 4 mums had an amazing time at the Cedar Shores Lakehouse. The decor is fabulous, it's spotless, and the living/dining area upstairs and basement 'hang out/games room' is a perfect arrangement with families. The beds are super comfortable, having a bathtub was great with little ones, and rooms were spacious enough for pack n play cribs. While we didn't use the wood fireplace upstairs, I can see that being really cozy during a winter visit. The downstairs gas fireplace is a nice touch as well. Kristen was really responsive, and we had a very positive experience renting.
For a winter visit, having the conservation area with snow shoe trails just down the road was lovely. There are sleds to use as well. We hope to return for a summer visit, maybe next year, since it's all booked up for this summer!

| Our family loved our stay at the cottage. First of all, it was probably the cleanest cottage I've ever been to. Great play area for kids and cosy family room to sit and relax. The owners let us to use the sleds so kids could have some snow activities.
