We spent years looking for THE RIGHT ONE and we found this split log gem. Location. Location. Location. Walkable. Bike or hike through the woods. Peaceful. 5 minute walk through the woods to Cottage Cafe by the yacht club and 10 minute walk to Main Beach.
While our 1500 Sq. Ft. "cabin in the woods" is definitely retro our guests have enjoyed our many upgrades providing comfort and relaxation. Central air conditioning. Large family room with lovely gas fireplace. 4 season sun porch. High speed internet. Wifi. Great cell service. Cable. Netflix. Prime Video. Board games in coffee table. Large rustic deck with propane BBQ, picnic table, beach chairs and zero gravity chaises. Propane fire-pit with Adirondack style chairs. Pinterest-worthy upgraded 3 piece and 4 piece bathrooms. Enjoy our eclectic mix of old and new decor. Ceiling fans and lots of lighting. We value good sleep and have locally sourced luxurious pillow top mattresses for King and Queen beds and upgraded 2 Single beds in Twin Room and Double bed on inside sun porch. Protected pillow and mattress covers with hypoallergenic duvets.
Well-outfitted basic kitchen with drip coffee maker, coffee grinder, tea kettle, artisan toaster, blender, slow cooker, popcorn popper, etc. Kitchen linens provided. Bring your own bed and bath linens if you prefer.
Please bring your beach gear such as beach towels, blankets, floats and toys since we do not provide. Wagon available. No food provided. No Frills and Sobey's nearby.

COTTAGE RULES:
No parties. No noise. Just peace. FAMILIES ONLY with Primary Renter at least 30 years old.
No smoking inside or preferably anywhere on the property.
No pets. No trailers. No fireworks.
Housekeeping and Cleaning: Please leave the cottage as tidy as you found it and you will get your full security refund. Security camera.
Outdoor garbage bins to be at bricked curb on Monday nights for Tuesday morning pick-up. Any garbage placed in outdoor bins must be in plastic bags.
Check for Main Beach summer concerts, Huron County Playhouse and Dark Horse Estate winery next door. Mini-golf on Main St. Try golfing at Oakwood, White Squirrel near St. Joseph's, or Woodland Links up near Clinton. Sport fishing and other lake activities 5 minutes away. Pinery Park just south of Grand Bend.
Our local favorites: Klopp's Cedar Villa Angus Farms beef and pork excellent at Wednesday morning at Farmer's Market at Anglican Church across from Oakwood Inn. Try Jerry's Homestyle Catering in Zurich for wonderful homemade deli specialties: salads & meats, Dutch Apple & other fruit pies. Hayter's Turkey Farm in Dashwood has great turkey creations as well as great wine and beer selection for the BBQ. Hessenland just North of St. Joseph's for great German food, vineyard and events. Zehr's Amish Food south of Bayfield.
