The Municipality of Lambton Shores Council has passed a by-law to impose a Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) of four per cent (4%) on all short-term accommodations starting January 1st 2026. This 4% will be added on top of the rental rate. Weekly minimum stay in the summer is for 6 nights. Inquire for shorter or longer stays if available. Our family cottage is nestled in beautiful Southcott Pines. This ideal location is perfect for spending your days at the beach, walking into town, hiking or biking along the trails. Simply relax on our fabulous covered deck complete with a hot tub to soak your stress away or cool off under the outdoor fan during your afternoon naps. The neighborhood's Sun Beach is just a short walk away, or you can choose to park at one of the 2 beach parking areas. The cottage accommodates up to 10 guests and offers three bathrooms. It features an open-concept loft master suite on the top floor, one bedroom on the main floor, and two bedrooms plus a pull-out couch on the walkout level. This cottage is perfect for a large family or up to four couples. We offer SMART TVs, Wi-Fi, central air conditioning, a gas BBQ, two gas fireplaces, kitchen appliances, a Jacuzzi tub in the en-suite, and two family room areas. Enjoy a BBQ on the wrap-around deck off the main floor, roast marshmallows over the fire pit on our flagstone patio, or shoot some hoops in the driveway all surrounded by nature. We're conveniently close to many amenities and just a short walk from town, where you can explore Grand Bend's restaurants, shops, and galleries. The Pinery Park, Huron Country Playhouse, Dark Horse Winery, Starlite Drive-In Theatre, and several excellent golf courses are all just a short drive away.
