This newly renovated beach house is situated waterfront on a large treed lot. The beach house is tastefully decorated with brand new indoor and outdoor furniture. A large deck overlooking the ocean contains a dining table and cushioned chairs as well as comfortable loungers and a smaller sheltered section. It is the perfect place to have your morning coffee or relax and enjoy the amazing sunset!

The spacious living room features a vaulted, pine ceiling and lots of comfortable seating from which you can enjoy the propane fireplace, watch satellite TV, or view the ocean through large patio doors and windows. There is also a dining area with a solid wooden table and chairs. A fully equipped kitchen, includes a microwave, dishwasher, full-sized fridge and stove, and the barbecue is on a back deck just off the kitchen.

One bedroom on the ground floor has a queen size bed. Upstairs are three more bedrooms - one with a queen size bed, one with twin over double bunk beds and another with one twin bed. Port-a-crib available upon request.

There is a ground floor bathroom and a separate large shower with seat. Upstairs, there is a full bathroom with tub. All new towels and linens are provided. There is also a washer and dryer on the main floor.

Rentals during peak season (June 25 - Sept 3) are from Saturday to Saturday only, at the rate of $2200 per week, including taxes and fees. Off-season rentals are available for a minimum of three nights at the rate of $250 per night for the first three nights and $200 for each additional night, including taxes and fees.

From the Confederation Bridge, follow TCH East approx. 20 mins to DeSable and turn right onto Rte 19 OR from Charlottetown, follow TCH West approx. 20 mins to DeSable and turn left onto Rte 19. Drive another 5 mins and turn right onto Shaw Lane (opposite Shaw Farms). Follow this clay road as it leads toward the water and then veers to the right. Your vacation destination is at the end of the lane.

We had a great week at the beach house! The view of The ocean was we wanted from all day to the beautiful sunset. We enjoyed the beach with a morning coffee to a full day walking the beach looking for sea glass, to the boys enjoying the water. Fire pit at night, few bbq suppers to finding Victory by the sea Restaurants Lobster barn pub definitely a must. Charlotte Town is only a 20 min drive and Cows ice cream. If you want a nice quiet place to spend the week with a nice view. Rooms are a good size kitchen has everything. Try the beach house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Red Shore Cottage this August. We had three children with us and were so surprised to find that the owner had provided beach toys for them according to their ages, and a playpen and chair for the baby.
The cottage was beautifully renovated and furnished, and very well equipped, including outdoor patio tables, lounge chairs, hammocks, and a fire-pit with chairs. There are all sorts of play games in a box near the steps to go to the beach. The beach was just steps away with lots of sand, which was great for the kids.
We had three cars, but there was plenty of parking on one side. The cottage is located not far from Charlottetown and Victoria, or the road to Cavendish through Crapaud. Very convenient! We would definitely recommend this cottage for a wonderful family vacation.

Our stay here was wonderful. We have nothing but positive things to say about this home away from home. We stayed here for a whole week with a 1 year old and a 5 year old and my in-laws. The home was perfectly suited to our needs and everything was thought of, including toys for the children, a bed for the baby and a high chair.
Upon our departures we were in tears to leave behind this private beach and sunset views. The two hammocks in the yards were enjoyed by all to relax and enjoy. Extremely clean includes all one requires, we made good use of the outdoor barbeque. Would come back in a heart beat.

We had a great week at this cottage. It was very clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed. The private beach was wonderful!! It was pretty central to many things. Beaches, restaurants and other attractions we went to during the day.
We were very comfortable there. It was nice having the washing machine and dryer as well. The deck was great to sit out at. The firepit was nice and the views were amazing!

We had an amazing family vacation here last summer. The cottage was extremely clean and fully stocked with kitchen amenities, towels, fire wood and outdoor furniture, we felt very much at home. The views are amazing being right on the water from the front room or the deck. Gina was great to deal with. We will be coming back.
