Visit Parliament Hill by day, and listen to the loons by night. Forested property on a beautiful deep lake with large dock. Fantastic for skating, snowshoeing, swimming, or boating depending on the time of year. Great freshwater fishing for everything from bass to lake trout. Three ski hills and zip line within 35-minute drive. Comforts of home, wifi, large screen to watch movies beside the wood-burning fireplace. Watch the birds. Enjoy the great views. Peace and quiet, a beautiful natural setting, and privacy attracted us to this property. Now, we appreciate the proximity of our 'cottage getaway' to Ottawa. It allows us to pop up for an evening or a weekend, and still be close enough to Ottawa to 'run back in' for appointments in the city. The focus of the property is the water. We have a fantastic waterfront on a beautiful, large lake. Days are filled with fishing, sailing, swimming, canoeing and kayaking, while the evenings promise sunsets and campfires, stars watching and board games. | Our stay at this cottage was absolutely wonderful. The cottage itself is great, everything is available so you feel like you are at home, there are tons of things to entertain everyone. We loved our time sitting by the lake, and enjoyed the canoe and kayaks very much. Paul was great to deal with, and made sure to communicate all the important details. Our only regret was the fact that our stay was short! We would've loved to stay there longer.

| This home nestled in the trees on Lac McGregor offers a resort feel. Complete with a beautiful dock, spa on the spacious deck surrounded by nature and cathedral-esque screened porch for enjoying your morning coffee, this spot is a stunner. The home is impeccably equipped and the beds very comfortable. Paul is always available to answer all your questions or assist with any recommendations. Our family of 5 cannot wait to return.

| Our stay at Paul's cottage was truly magical! The cottage is very spacious and the beautiful architecture and layout made our stay with our adult "kids" very enjoyable. The cottage was immaculately clean! The abundance of amenities in the kitchen, which is fabulously equipped, the hot tub, firepit and screened sunroom, all made our stay effortless and very relaxing. Communication with Paul was very prompt and he was very accommodating. The cottage is located in a beautiful area and there is a lot of places to hike and discover. A supermarket in the area provides for all additional needs and more. Truly a resort and spa all in one! We hope to be able to come back!

| The cottage was beautiful. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and of course relaxed and unwound. Everything you can possibly need is there. Very well equipped. Even dishes are beautiful.Spent much of our time in screened in porch. We felt like we were in treehouse with birds all around us. So relaxing! Hot tub was great and wharf very inviting. We even went in water for quick dips. Fire area at night was also spectacular. Nothing but positive things to say! Owner was very responsive to any inquiries we had. Hope to be able to go again next fall

| Where to begin on this review! This place was absolutely incredible and what was the most well equipped cottage (more like a waterfront home) with the finest of all touches throughout that we have ever rented (20 years renting). This felt like a resort and spa with all the amenities of home and more. The seclusion, privacy and spacious decks with incredible views is what first stands out. Then, as you settle in, you start to discover the small touches throughout that truly make you feel like you are in one of a kind spot.
Incredible swimming off the dock with 40 ft depth great for diving and a flagstone fireplace on the edge of the lake for evening relaxation time.
The hot tub was pure joy and the screened in deck was nothing we had experienced before.
And to make things as smooth as possible, the owners were an absolute pleasure throughout the entire rental process. This place is absolutely worth the spend and we can't wait to get back there sometime soon.
