Originally constructed by the students of the Pat Wolf Log Building School, The Wood House is 17th century European chinkless log construction at its finest.
Our guests come here to relax. Sloping granite landscape leads to our new floating dock extension, perfect for sunbathing or watching the sunset. Dip into the 10 + feet of weed free water for a swim or explore the river it via canoe or kayak. A 40 foot covered porch offers protected riverside views.
Relax by the granite-faced, wood burning fireplace on cool and cozy evenings or hang out on the hammock for an afternoon nap. Enjoy the fire pit just off the side deck.
You'll love the custom split-log staircase leading to 4 individually styled bedrooms with locks. Venture up the drop-down ladder to the loft for some alone time with a book.
Large open-concept main area for quality time. Netflix and chill or listen to your favourite tunes with our portable speaker + Google Home or record player. Our modern kitchen and bathroom are outfitted with all the comforts of home.
Surrounded by 2 acres of mature pine forest and 200 ft of waterfront, this cottage offers both peace and privacy. Close to ski hills, snowmobile trails and provincial parks.
Make friends with our wildlife neighbours (porcupine, turkey, barred owl, white-tailed deer, red foxes, Great blue heron, ruffed grouse, white swan).
