This Woodhouse log cabin is everything! My family & I spent the week & celebrated 2020 in this cozy & accommodating home. The place is immaculate, the beds comfy, the kitchen stocked, there are games to play & lots of movies to catch up. Everything is up to date- wifi, internet TV, and Google music. My kids loved the secret door loft area- where we hooked up a projector for them to play their video games & watch their movies. But family time was the most precious -cooking together & taking walks around the beautiful snowy grounds. And pets are welcome- our dog loved to snuggle by the wood fireplace. Waking up & having our coffee on the porch overlooking the lake set the tone for our day. This place is a gem & the hosts are wonderful sharing their special home on the lake with us. Thank you Jill & family for the beautiful memories we will cherish at the Woodhouse.

Everything about Woodhouse is gorgeous! We had 7 adults and were very comfortable in the spacious, open-concept cabin. Jill provided everything we could've needed for a 3-day weekend, from the usual pots and pans, to the amazing gas stove, barbecue, and Google Home so that we could live like Iron Man giving commands to Jarvis! It rained a couple of nights so the unlimited Netflix and Playstation really came in handy!

The panorama along the river is also beautiful! We got up with the sun and were treated to ethereal mist coming off the water backlit by light over the trees. The fishing from the shore was a lot of fun too! There are some huge sunfish that live under Jill's dock! And a giant smallmouth bass broke me off two days in a row. I named him Moby. If you catch him, please let me know so I can pour one out for him.

Woodhouse is definitely worth your stay! It's a beautiful place run by a conscientious host. True quality is about the subtle things. Jill even put out fancy stone bowls for our dog's food and water!

My partner, daughter (5 y.o.) and I stayed for a week at the end of July and had the time of our lives! The cabin is stunning and has everything one would need, including laundry and Google Plus! We spent most of our time on the water, either swimming and playing on the ridiculously fun LilyPad, or just lounging on the dock. The Waubic restaurant just across the water and the Coldwater Ice Cream parlour are must visit locations!

Jill, the owner, was so lovely and very helpful and attentive to all of our needs. We wanted for nothing!

We will definitely be planning a trip there next season!

Thank you!
Allyson, Jocelyn and Quinn!
