YEAR ROUND RENTAL on weekly basis! Fully winterized, was a year round home. Central heating and air conditioning. High speed fibre optic internet for hassle free WiFi.
Lake view cottage, only steps to a beautiful, sandy beach. Outside there is a deck with propane BBQ, large backyard with fire pit and picnic table out front. Very quiet neighbourhood. This is not a PARTY COTTAGE! No weekend rentals during peak season (July and August). Partial weekly rentals may be considered (within the Saturday to Saturday rental time). Weekend rental available September through June. Suitable for mature couple or family. Please no pets at all and no smoking.
Close to marina, golfing, restaurants, convenience store with LCBO, and is minutes away from wineries, breweries, and zip lining.
Bring your own bedding, pillows, towels, firewood, food and clothes - everything else awaits you! Lockable enclosed carport for storing bikes, lake toys , golf clubs etc. Summer bookings begin in January.
Also is a quiet off season get away. Snow mobiling and cross country skiing within minutes.

Our family spent 2 nights at the Cottonwood. The owners are very kind and helpful. They greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the property. The cottage is clean and spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved being just a step away from the beach! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again sometime!

I didn't rent or live there, but I walked with my heavy backpack passing by it with hours of dehydration.
The owner (he and his wife own this cottage) of the cottage was very observant and kind, and he called me to offer me cold water (clean fresh lake water) that is so tasty !
You would instantly know that there is no chemical but pure clean water from the nature.
They have their own device in the backyard to get clean lake water.
The place is extremely clean and neat ! And it is right aside the beach (if you walked along the beach, you will see it).

I REALLY REALLY appreciated that the owner was so observant and kind !
That cold pure water in my thermos bottle helped support me to walk extra 2 hours till I was finally able to reach out Taxi to drive me to Ancaster for the public transportation to get back to Toronto !

I wanted to find a way to thank them and I found this site that I could leave a review.

Stayed for 2 night at the end of June and we loved it! It was perfect for our little family. The access to the beach was fabulous and it was quiet and very peaceful at night. Gerry and Kathryn were fantastic hosts who really take pride in their cottage. We're booked in again for September thank you!

A friend and I spent last weekend at the Cottonwood Cottage. We didn't want to leave! The space is super clean and there is tons of space. The beds were very comfortable, and the cupboards were stocked with whatever you needed. Best of all, we loved being so close to the beach!

Kathryn and Gerry are wonderful hosts and showed us everything we needed to know and made recommendations for a nice lunch in town and the best place to get firewood.

We'll be back for sure!
