| We had an amazing stay at Saltscapes! This place is not only really spacious for big family or friends getaways, but the indoor-outdoor dining area is the perfect place to spend evenings together eating seafood, playing games, and feeling the warm sea breeze pass through. A fantastic layout and had everything we needed. Plus so many places to relax with both front and back decks, two sofa areas, and even a reading nook under the staircase that the kids loved. It's steps away from one of the best beaches we've ever seen! And there is so much to do in this area of PEI. The kids loved bridge jumping at Stanley Bridge, go karting at Burlington, and going to the arcade at Twin Shores Campground. And the adults picked up seafood at Basin View Seafood and loved the fresh lobster and mussels with a few cocktails, and adored the vibe at Island Stone Pub for dinner.
This cottage is perfect for a group, the host was really helpful, and we will definitely be back next year!!

| Had a fantastic stay here! Incredible location - loved exploring Thunder Cove and had amazing meals, both cooking in the kitchen and around the island. (Definitely go to Richard's for the lobster rolls.) The house is casual, simple and has everything you need for a great time at the beach. We particularly enjoyed the indoor/outdoor dining area and slow mornings on the deck with our coffee :) Great place to stay and enjoy the beauty PEI offers!

| Stayed with our best friends from VT, 4 adults, 7 teenagers. We were very pleased with the cleanliness, space and overall atmosphere the cottage offered. Ed is a very reliable host who cares about your stay. Easy walk to the beach. Water was warm for swimming, most gorgeous sunsets. Cooked our own seafood most nights from Basin View Seafood just down the road. Kids enjoyed Forest Hill Golf Course (low key able to book the same day), and various amusements in Cavendish. Our favorite stop was an afternoon drop in at Island Honey Wine Company, where we enjoyed a wine tasting and charcuterie board in their garden. Recommend doing a large grocery trip before heading over the 8 mile bridge into PEI. There are some small marts but not much nearby unless you're heading into Charlottetown. Wish PEI was closer to us, it is the most beautiful place!

| This cottage was perfect for our family of 3 generations with 7 adults and 2 children ages 8 and 11. We dug clams and made chowder, swam and played at the beach, did crafts and ate at the long tables, went to a lobster feed, visited Anne of Green Gables, had Cows ice cream and had many campfires and s'mores. The house is nicely divided to have one side with 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and couch, with the other side 4 bedrooms, bathroom and living room. These 2 sides are divided by an enclosed breezeway with 2 large tables and the end doors can be opened. This allows for a quiet side and a busy cooking side. Plenty of beach and lawn chairs available, and a kitchen stocked with ample pots, pans, utensils, and dishes. You will need to bring your own shampoo, creme rinse, soap, spices, oil, etc. Some of the beds are more comfortable than others and some pillows are thin. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and then up and over the sand dune. The beach is beautiful and uncrowded. We enjoyed our week immensely and will return. Ed was always responsive to our needs.

| Amazing sunrise and sunsets. Plenty of room for everyone with 7 queen size beds/2 full bathrooms, 2 living rooms, and a reading nook were just added bonus space for the kids to get away. The beach is superb and runs for miles in each direction, great for beachcombing and long walks. One of the biggest perks was the dining room breezeway connecting the 2 living spaces. It was great for large family meals and socializing. We were able to open the doors on each end in the evening and have the sun shine in and gentle breeze off the water.
