Enjoy this 3 bedroom winterized cottage on beautiful, peaceful 2 Lake Chain (Moose & Eagle). This cottage boasts a large fully equipped gourmet kitchen with modern appliances. Cozy living room with stone propane fireplace & cathedral lake view windows bringing the outdoors in. Main floor Master Bedroom next to bathroom with jetted tub. Separate dining room with Moose Lake views, 4 season Haliburton room with propane stove for chilly evenings. BBQ on the deck and also hot tub. Clean shoreline (no weeds!) and deep water (at least 12 ft) off the dock. We have access to 175 acres of private trails & forest just across the road. Our cottage is on a year round Township Road just minutes to Sir Sam's Ski & Mountain Biking Resort. 5 minutes to grocery, beer/ liquor store & gas bar and just 15 minutes to Haliburton village.
This property is family owned and cared for with pride. Please treat the residence as if it were your own. Please take a couple of minutes to read the cottage manual when you arrive.
Extreme weather & WINTER MONTHS:
Some amenities might not be available during winter months due to extreme weather. We will try our best to provide the best experience for you but sometimes we just can't fight mother nature.
- Winter tires are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for winter season
- Power outages might happen during bad weather and unfortunately it is something outside our control. You would be able to have a cozy night with your friends and family with candles and board games.
- We have satellite internet that can be unreliable at times. We would try our best to contact the internet provider but sometimes bad things happen. Don't you worry though, we have plenty movies available at the cottage and also board games! It could be the perfect time to go "offline" and enjoy some people time.
- Hot tub - if it's really freezing outside, sometimes our pipe for the hot tub is frozen too and unfortunately there is nothing anyone can do except wait for the weather to warm up. During this extreme cold weather, we suggest you sit by the fireplace and enjoy some hot cocoa and play a great classic movie.

**Bring your own sheets & towels - we have everything else for you**
**We have water cooler but our water is drinkable so you can use tap water or water filter from the fridge. If you choose to use the water cooler, please bring your own water. Our closest grocery store (5 mins away) also sell them if you need it.**
BEDROOMS
We have 3 bedrooms and 1 sofabed in the 4 season sun-room. We have quilts, blankets, and pillows for you to use. Please bring your own bed sheets due to hygienic reasons.
SOFABED
Sofa bed is available to use in the sun room (the green sofa). There is a mattress top that you can add to the sofa bed, mattress top cover and blanket to use (all will be behind the sofa bed). Pillows can be found in the closet in the bedroom on the first floor. This is a double size bed so please bring your own sheet accordingly.
Before you check out, please leave them the same way that you found them.
BATHROOMS
We provide tissue paper, bath mat, hand towels, and hand soaps so bring your own towels, and toiletries. We also have 1 hair dryer that you can use and it's located in the second floor bathroom.
WATER SPORTS
2 Kayak / 1 Canoe (Only use the green canoe, red canoe has a hole in it)
Paddles - Please put paddles back under the red canoe
8 adult size life jackets - Please let them dry before storing them back in garage
*If you need other/special sizes, please bring your own life jackets*
SEPTIC SYSTEM
All cottages run on a septic system. Please be mindful of what goes down the drain. Please only flush toilet paper and nothing else. Also consider doing laundry at the end of the day. Also, do not run laundry and dishwasher at the same time.
GARBAGE
Once your garbage gets full, Please bring it to the West Guilford Waste Facility at 11903, HWY 118, WEST GUILFORD, ONTARIO K0M 2S0. Garbage can only be put in clear bags (under the sink). Recycling is to be brought and separated at the facility. You can also bring beer/wine bottles here if you choose to defer your bottle deposit.

| If you're looking for a clean, spacious, and pretty cottage surrounded by gorgeous views, look no further. Rocky Moose is all those things and more. Everything is well thought out from the welcome booklet to all of the available kitchen equipment/necessities, as well as the bathrooms.
I'm typically very picky about cleanliness, and I had no issues with our experience at this lovely cottage. Also, whatever you have in your kitchen at home, you can expect to find the same items at this cottage, so no need to overpack with kitchen items.
We stayed 2 couples and 4 kids and everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable time. Hot tub was a hit, and so was the wifi :)
Cynthia and John are very responsive and were lovely hosts. Will absolutely be back again!

| Stayed here for 2nights for my father's surprise 60th birthday and our family absolutely loved it! This cottage exceeded our expectations! The home has everything that you need and more! This is the best cottage we've been to yet. We are hoping to go back this year again and definitely for a longer period. The owners have been very responsive whether it's through email or text. The home was spacious, clean and comfortable. The accomodation was perfectly adequate for what we needed. We are so happy we found this hidden gem!

| I could not have had a better stay! This was my first time going for a winter cottage getaway and my friends and I had one of the best vacations we ever had! The place was fully stocked with every type of pot, pan, utensil, spices, baking items, tea/coffee, whatever else you can think of. They've got board games, they've got an awesome fireplace, a jacuzzi! The outdoor hot tub was amazing too and the view!!! My goodness!!
We were worried we'd get snowed in because a big winter storm hit but the next morning, without us giving any notice, someone came in and plowed the driveway and the road! Actually, the snow made our getaway even better cause we got a proper winter cottage experience! If you're looking for a relaxing time away, I would highly recommend you come check this cottage out! I'M COMING BACK!

| We had an amazing week in Rocky Moose Lake Cottage! There is more than enough room for up to 3 couples with kids and found an even better place than what we could expect from the pictures. The kitchen is very well furnished, and everything was there to allow us enjoying our Christmas with friends and family. There is also a great ski station 10 minutes away, perfect for the kids to start practicing.
We will definitely come back here.
